I had a dinner and breakfast here. Both were very satisfying with an imaginative evening menu and a wide choice at breakfast.

I used their three course option which was reasonably priced and had a varied range of choices. Many of the ingredients appeared to be locally sourced, the cooked breakfast black pudding, etc being particularly tasty.

Absolutely recommended.

Great service and good food. I had the £9.95 lunch with goats cheese starter (very nice) and a toastie with chips. I was too stuffed for pudding! My mum went off the set menu and had haggis for starter (looked like a big portion) and fish and chips (again a big portion). The service was great much better than most of the places I've eaten in Glasgow. I'd go back and I am pretty fussy!

Fabulous Food - Relaxing Setting.. If you are looking for traditional Scottish food within a relaxing environment then there is simply no better place than the Pipers' Tryst restaurant.

The restaurant itself is small and cosy but the furnishing gives it a contemporary edge so it does not feel stuffy. The menu consisted of a variety of Scottish dishes which are sure to tempt everybody at your table. The ingredients are fresh and beautifully prepared to create exciting meals. There are also plentiful options for vegetarians or other dietary requirements.

The staff were very welcoming and we were shown to our table straight away and our jackets taken for us. The two waiters on service made our experience feel special and made us very welcome. Our waiter was able to recommend a fabulous wine to go with our fabulous meal and we enjoyed a lovely relaxing evening.

Highly recommended.

Great tastes and environment. This is a charity for Scottish highland bagpipes and beyond! Can’t help but think they are doing things right here. It’s amazing.

Great place. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. There’s no gym which I was aware of; I wanted a night in a unique place. This is not the double tree or any other chain hotel. Upon entering, you check in at the bar which was interesting but even better was the offering of a little scotch and a butter cookie - a little whiskey makes everything better but that’s me. I particularly liked the breakfast which was my introduction to a “full breakfast” - had to take a nap after eating. My wife had the vegetarian “full breakfast”. The bag piper outside in the afternoon was also a unique experience.

This is a lovely hotel that is well situated in the city centre. It's just a very short walk to Buchanan Bus Station as well. It has a very nice small bar within as well that serves great food as well. My cooked breakfast in the morning was superb and there was a buffet as well for even more choice. My room was very nice, very clean and with all the amenities you would need like tea/coffee, hairdryer, tv and plenty of sockets and such to keep you gear charged. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again in the future.

Lovely small hotel, lovely touch with the complimentary drink & biscuits on arrival, very kind & helpful staff, good location, great Continental & cooked breakfast with plenty of choice.. nice clean bedroom.. lovely complimentary toiletries not the largest room & bathroom but big enough for a small stay, only downside was poor shower pressure.. we would definetly be up for a return stay. Thank you. X

Emily was so helpful in the planning of our visit, which was a surprise gift for my wife. She was able to email me to avoid spoiling the surprise and even made some initial introductions so I could plan piping lessons in secret!! This was all before we arrived. 😁 On arrival we were greeted by Sam, with a welcome dram and shortbread, absolutely lovely after a long train journey!! He was really friendly and throughout our stay made sure we had everything we needed. Making our breakfast mornings really lovely, nothing was too much trouble. He made it feel a really personal and first class service. We also met Evie during our stay. She was again really lovely and so helpful. She gave us lots of information about future events coming up, places to visit and where to get more details online. Again, nothing was too much trouble for her. I must mention the nice lady who was always busy cleaning the rooms. Again, she was always happy to help, refreshing our tea supplies and keeping everywhere immaculate! These staff members in particular made our short stay at The Tryst Hotel in Glasgow so lovely. I cannot tell you how relaxed you will feel, the minute you step inside. Feels almost like going home every evening 🥰 First class hotel, thank you everyone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I ate at the restaurant and a very enjoyable meal in very nice surroundings. A wee bit off the beaten track but not too far! A very Scottish meal in a very Scottish place.
