Hidden gem! Brilliant food
We had a meal here as a friend lives nearby and I was blown away by the quality of the food! Amazing, all my friends thought the same and very helpful staff
Never disappoints. Bruschetta to start followed by tagliatelle molisano . Italian sausage, creamy truffle flavour in a perfect portion size. Staff were excellent even though we were last and kept them waiting.
what an amazing place to eat lunch or dinner or even something light.this is my first time at this beautiful restaurant although my family all go often.the food was amazing and the staff were so lovely.i cant say enough about the food we all ate something different and it looked fabulous.the portions were so good as well.the prices on the menu were brilliant for the standard of food.what an amazing place.it was the amazing prices for one of the nicest restaurants i have been in .it is a hidden gem.thank you for making our day so lovely margaretxxxx
I had walked past this place so many times and thought about going in. Tonight I decided to take my daughter in as a wee treat. I honestly can't speak highly enough of it. The atmosphere was lovely, cosy authentic. The food was fantastic and the staff were excellent. I actually never write reviews on things like this but felt compelled to after having such a lovely night. I'll definitely be back there. My daughter and I loved it.
Simply the Best! Respect to Bruno...
Lovely meal....great value set menu @ 2 course for £10.95. Food was well presented, good size portion and very tasty! Informal atmosphere. Mostly pasta for mains on the set menu. But it was scrumptious homemade(I think) pasta! Price for 2 with bottle of wine = £35
Wee gem. Sapori d'Italia is a welcome addition to Mount Florida. Previously Canasta which I wasn't impressed with in the slightest, I think I've reviewed it on here a while ago, it is now a fantastic wee place where you can enjoy a coffee, a wine, a phenomenal antipasti or a full meal. The antipasti really is to been seen to be believed and you need a big appetite to finish it off. The food is always very fresh and the wines are of a good quality. It's also a great place to enjoy a breakfast, again you need a big appetite for the full Scottish!
There have been a few changes to the waiting staff but you are always guaranteed a warm welcome by the owners. Great place and becoming a firm favourite.
Lovely wee place with great food and friendly service. I had a simple starter of goats cheese on toast with seasoned peppers which was very good and tested my partners caprese which was also very nice. My main was the tagliatelie with truffle oil, mushrooms and Italian sausage. This was excellent! Really great! Then to top it off I had panacotta which was truly remarkable. We'll be going back. A great place to have so nearby.
Ann H. Spent a lovely evening in this warm and welcoming Italian restaurant. The standard of cuisine was the best I`ve had in Glasgow - everything was prepared to order and was just delicious! The service was friendly and efficient. I would heartily recommend this restaurant!
Sapori D'italia is an incredibly welcoming and friendly place which has the best food I have ever tasted, the staff are great and always polite and sociable! Sapori D'italia is definitely the place to be!!
Had a bolognese spaghetti with meatballs for a takeaway and visited the restaurant for dinner last week, and ended up coming again since every single menu we ordered was amazing. I can assure they really know how to create rich flavours with the perfect seasoning and balance of ingredients, a feature which a lot of Italian restaurants lack here in Scotland (I am a very picky foodie, and I see that so many restaurants think flavour simply comes from strong seasoning). It’s a small and cozy place so it can get easily busy, but honestly the best Italian restaurant around the area. (They’re masters in both meat and seafood, but especially don’t miss the bruschetta and fried calamari)
Last minute booking had never heard of the place was in the area so thought would try. Lovely traditional Italian, delicious food, lovely staff and great prices. Will definitely be back again.
Really excellent. Lovely staff - helpful, clearly passionate. Good service. The food everyone received was really delicious. Really nice atmosphere. I would really recommend. I am also told the take away pizza is amazing so look forward to trying that next.
Brilliant food with a great home made feel to it. Staff are very friendly and communication re.when your courses etc are coming is good. We popped in with no reservation on a busy Friday night and were accommodated with no hassle. Menu is very good but without that overwhelming amount of choice seen in some Italian places. The sharing platter starter is phenomenal.

I took my girlfriend here for valentine's day. We loved how cosy the restaurant is and the owners have made a great effort into making it look really nice. We had a fantastic dinner, everything from starters to dessert was absolutely exquisite and the portions were very generous. They cook everything the proper authentic way and the waiters are very friendly and welcoming.
It was our first time here and we will definitely come back. This restaurant is such a gem and I'm so happy to have discovered it. Thank you for making our night special
Best food in Glasgow, hands down, no contest.
Everything on the menu is delicious and great value for money, and if you haven't already I'd definitely recommend trying their Aberdeen Angus meatballs and the tiramisu. I've lived all over the UK and their pizza is the best I've ever had.
What's more, the owner and all the staff are so friendly, and you can tell from their Instagram they're really passionate about food.
My favourite place in Glasgow! And I'm European so my food standards are high ;) Great menu, affordable and absolutely delicious pizza and really great tiramisu! I highly reccomend trying their signature meetballs pasta. Love the place, keep coming back there.Such a shame they don't deliver anymore (it was a lockdown saviour!).
My mum booked this for my dad's birthday. Week night - straight from work. The staff were friendly. It's had a really family atmosphere. It was quiet at first but became very busy. The owner was there and took a real interest in the welfare of his guests and their enjoyment of the food. Great food, nice place, lovely staff.
Seafood pasta and Big size tiramisu are AWESOME!
We ate here for the first time on Saturday after a recommendation. We received a lovely warm welcome. Starters were fabulous, served nice and hot, the lasagne and the carbonarra were delicious, I took mine home as I couldn't finish it, and it was just as good, next day. Pizza was good, not great, but overall a lovely night out. The staff were just lovely and we will definitely be back.
One of best Italian meals I've had in Glasgow.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Generous portions and the actual food itself is as good as anything I've tasted in Italy.
Book in advance though, especially at the weekends as it maybe only sits 30 people and it's popular.
Just eaten the tastiest pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. Couldn’t imagine a better one - big fluffy crust, thin and juicy in the middle. I bought a margherita with extra buffalo mozzarella, rocket and sun dried tomatoes. So generous with the tomatoes it was delicious. 100% genuinely the highlight of my week.
The best part of 400 miles from home and worth the journey...This is an excellent friendly hospitable traditional Italian Restaurant, the depth of flavour in the ragu is so intense. The pizza is better than any I have eaten this side of the Alps. I am assured that the tiramasu hits the sweet spot. As the Michellin guide would say well worth the detour. If you live in Glasgow you are very lucky indeed...
The quality of the service and the food is
simlpy unbelievable. A perfect place to go with friends, family or for a date. Everyone living in Glasgow should try Meatballs Master and if you book, ask for the Babá, a typical neapolitan dessert which will leave you speechless.
I can't recommend Sapori D Italia enough.
A restaurant run by a beautiful and friendly family and is by far THE Best Italian restraunt serving the best Italian food Ive tasted. The selection of freshly made Meatballs are all amazing, my favourites are Chicken Meatballs, Husband favourite is meat Skewers and the Pizzas.
First class service with a warm friendly welcome everytime.
See you soon everyone 😊👏
I've lived in Glasgow all of my life and only got my first delivery from Sapori D'Italia last weekend. Boy, have I been missing out. We couldn't believe how beautiful the food was, and the size of the portions - wow! Italian cooking at its very finest and most generous... simply amazing. I'm just kicking myself that I haven't been ordering food from this place for far longer - I'm gonna have to make up for lost time! 5/5, cinque stelle, assolutamente magnifico!
