Having food intolerances & eating out is quite difficult, so when looking for somewhere to eat in Glasgow city centre, I came across somewhere advertising a FODMAP friendly menu & decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Had a lovely meal with no need to worry about what I was eating & endless questions to staff/Chef. It was all there on a FODMAP menu. Really impressed & will definitely be back. Well done folks for catering for us 'intolerant' lot!!!
I absolutely love this gem of a place. The staff are amazing and the cocktails are fabulous! Have been in a few times for drinks only, can't wait to book the restaurant as menu looks wonderful. Feels like you are transported to Paris and they have wonderful musicians entertaining the guests. It's not cheap but trust me it's worth every penny!
This was the first time we have eaten here, it won't be the last. The food was superb, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the house white was lovely.
Enjoyed a very tasty meal in this lovely restraunt. We went on an Itison deal and thoroughly enjoyed ever one of the four courses. The girl who served us was very pleasant and professional. First time I have had a sharing desert of various dishes. This is a fabulous way to enjoy numerous options without filling yourself up.
They do add an automatic 10% service charge. I think it's a bit cheeky as you sometimes don't notice. I always tip, and it's always more than 10%, but when this happens I pay the exact amount.
Enjoyed an amazing spur of the moment meal last night with my lovely wife. Staff were incredibly attentive and lovely. We were fortunate enough to get the "chefs table" overlooking the kitchen. The chefs were all brilliant and the Head Chef talked us through some of the dishes. It was a truly memorable night...THANK YOU!
My absolute favourite place to eat in Glasgow city centre. Never been disappointed by the food, the cod dish is a wow for me!! Still not found a better Creme Brulé even in Paris. Pleasant, friendly staff and just overall lovely. 😍
As always, great service and amazing quality of food from start to finish! Our server was friendly & attentive.
My friend had noted on the booking that we were out to celebrate both our birthdays - when we received the dessert our server very enthusiastically sang us happy birthday - she really got into the spirit of it and made us laugh and smile :)
Visited June 26th @ 6.30pm.
Fabulous meal. Great friendly staff. Lamb just beautiful andfillet steak lovely. All in all highly recommended
Delicious food, great atmosphere and top service. As a French person this felt authentic and transported me home. I would defo recommend for a taste of Paris in Glasgow !
Enjoyed the meal 🥘, good value for money 3 course at £39 great ambience and lovely food ! Nice and easy Morden cuisine!!
Should visit for easy eating !!
Very good, but they add 10% to your bill without telling you. It was a very disappointing end to a otherwise lovely evening. I don't recommend places in Europe that do this.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant, you feel transported to a different world as you walk down the steps. There was a live jazz band playing during our visit. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, highly recommend this restaurant.
Went for lunch at the Atlantic Bar and Brasserie on a monday lunchtime. Had the half rotisserie chicken with sides of roasties, honey glazed vegetables and a portion of fries. Very nice, hearty meal. Service attentive and all set in pleasant surroundings with a nod to Glasgows Empire Exhibition.
We had a table booked for 18:30 on a Tuesday, but even on an off peak day/time the place was immaculate.
The waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful, even asking about any allergies which may require changes to our food.
1st course was an amuse-bouche of Coronation Chicken on Crostini, which was a nice tasty little treat.
Starter, we ordered the Artichoke Salad and the Terrine. The Terrine was really meaty and tasty, as was the onion chutney that accompanied it. The salad was 'amazing' and really flavourful.
Mains, we both ordered the same which was the Pork Belly with black pudding and date stuffing, rosemary & thyme mash and a sausage and bean cassoulet. This was absolutely delicious.
We rounded off the 4 courses with a sharing platter of Cheesecake with candied lemon peel & vanilla ice cream and a lemon posset with raspberry coulis & mixed berries. This was phenomenal.
All in all a really enjoyable evening with excellent food and service. We will definitely return.
Fantastic afternoon for drinks and charcuterie board, leading into dinner. Did not book in advance but my request for dinner was dealt with immediately. I was able to choose our seats at the chefs table as I'm nosy😆 what a tremendous evening we had. Food, was delicious, talking to the Chefs, recommendations from them for our desserts. Most importantly I observed their hygiene standards in the kitchen, which is why I'm nosy 😄Food should be relaxed and memorable which is what we experienced today.
I would highly recommend a visit, you would not be disappointed.
Really enjoyed our experience. Delicious food and great service. And finally found place with quality live music in the background.
We were out for dinner here on Saturday and it was lovely. Started off with Prawns, Olives and Gluten Free bread.
Mains were delicious. Steaks cooked perfect. Both chickens moist and tender.
Desert was Creme Brulee which was still on fire. Very cool and also tasty.
Restuarant had a nice feel and ambience, great gluten free selection and great service all night.
A couple of downsides, but nothing bad enough to stop me going back. The bar staff seemed intent on making as much noise as possible when slamming empty bottles into the bottle bin. The smoked hickory sauce was a tad underwhelming, tasted like tomato sauce with bbq/paprika mixed though it, not very authentic but still ok.
Service was great.
Amazing food and service. Ordered the onion soup - it's rich and yum. The signature roast chicken is also worth the wait and a must try. The soft cheese salad also is a real charm.
Went for my boyfriends birthday and could not be happier with the food and service. They catered to the things I requested online. The food was amazing, with lots of unique options on the menu. Beautiful inside and the staff were all so lovely. Will be back !
In terms of quality and taste - The Atlantic Bar and Brassiere is amazing. I really enjoyed my meal.
However, I am coeliac. I told them before via email and phoned prior to our visit. And reminded them when ordering. All good we thought.
Nope, I was ill for a whole weekend. Their was definitely cross contamination or something there.
If you aren't coeliac I 100% recommend them. The food is AMAZING. But if you have any issues with food. I recommend you avoid.
