Reviews Riverhill Coffee Bar

Love the coffee. Ordered a latte, and the smell of the coffee beans was quite unique but very soft. The coffee was very mild and milky, probably they used the milk based beans. Milk lovers should like this kind of latte, it was creamy yet you could still taste the coffee. Ones who prefer stronger coffee should order the latte with double shots. It won't feel that milky but still tastes sweet and mild with stronger coffee flavour.

I like the idea of coming here for a dessert after visit in Riverhill Restaurant around the corner. It is to too small a little bit. There is possibility to have take-away but I would prefer have a place for a stay inside.

Great little cafe in the heart of Glasgow. Popular with the locals with a line up to the door wanting coffees which is a good sign. Phil the barista is a top bloke and makes a great flat white. I had a bacon buttie, a Scottish classic breakfast choice and it was yummy. You must go here if you're...

The quirky, cozy atmosphere of this little coffee shop drew me in, but I was even more impressed by the selection of pastries & sandwiches inside. I had a cappuccino and quite possibly the fluffiest, best scone I've ever tasted for £4 even. It's pretty small, with no actual tables (only bars) so don't expect to lounge with a big group, but it's friendly & delicious. I got my drink quickly & the wifi password is conveniently posted on the wall!

Became our favourite coffee destination whilst on 'homecoming' trip to Scotland last year with frequent trips to Glasgow.  Small but great coffee and sandwiches, scones, cake, etc to die for.

As an international traveller coming to Glasgow the first thing you want to find is a good coffee. Riverhill was recommended and it did not disappoint, great coffee, great service and in a prime location if your coming to town early. Brilliant!

Quite Outstanding. A stones throw from Central Station, the pale blue frontage of the Riverhill Cafe drew me in. It's quite compact with seating at the window and along the exposed brick wall. No tables for the laptop seat hoggers I'm glad to say so I was able to relax and enjoy the sunshine in peace. Firstly, the coffee (dear green coffee) is superb; full of flavour without any bitterness. My only gripe being the lack of large cups. However, the highlight was for me was the outstanding selection of bakes and sandwiches. Every item on display was tempting and it was a difficult choice. My empire biscuit was both exquisite and enormous. A good combination !! This place is now on my favourites list and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Been a regular visitor to Riverhill for a number of years. The coffee is always served quickly and tastes great. Their sandwich selection includes vegetarian, pescetarian and meat options and they have a wide selection of cakes available. An affordable and reliable coffee shop in the city centre!

Awesome coffee and lots of choices. The staff working provide a great service, they’re friendly and work efficient. Also a great selection of fresh sandwiches and sweets. Well wrapped and perfect for takeaway. Sitting in at the bar on the sides is also possible.

An awesome coffee spot in the centre of Glasgow! Delicious coffee and the best almond croissant I’ve ever had! I didn’t eat anything else but the bagels looked delicious too! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot!

Coffee was very tasty & flavourful, so too the bacon roll. Friendly staff. Outside seating a nice option too. Ideal location between Central & Queen Street Station to pass some connection waiting time. Glad I found it!

I've tried the breakfast rolls, cakes and coffees here and all have been delicious. The cakes especially win for variety and freshness! They also do cold brew coffee which is not easy to find in Glasgow! As another review points out, the breakfast rolls are cooked on a flat top grill so won't be suitable for people with allergies. But otherwise I defo recommend breakfast here!

Cute cafe in downtown Glasgow. My bagel was good, my long black was more what I would call a watery americano but i am generally about the service. Selection of cakes was really tempting.

Five stars already for the coffee alone. Also liked how up-front the server was about the wait for the food, so I wouldn't risk missing my train. In the end it came out a lot quicker with plenty of time to relax and have breakfast.

What a beautiful cozy Cafe! We have been here several times and every time is really nice. The staff is really friendly and always smiling which is the most important thing to me when it comes to cafes. Great variety of fresh sandwiches and desserts, vegan options available as well. Prices are normal. Definitely need to try it when you are in the city centre!

Small independent coffee shop in Central Glasgow very near Central railway station with a large window and stellar views of the passing world. It's certainly the smallest coffee shop I've had the pleasure of enjoying but it had a steady stream of customers in the time I was there. The coffee was fine, tasty and refreshing. The service was good. The only problem was the seats, well stools really weren't the most comfortable and the shop was uncomfortably hot.
