Lunchtime visit proved very successful. Good atmosphere, staff very friendly and attentive, and quality of food very good surprisingly- I'm not normally a fan of Mexican cuisine! Would recommend
Went to this buzzing restaurant after a recommendation by a friend. Had booked a table, had to wait maybe 5 mins as the place was so busy, no problem with that. Waiting staff were pleasant and my dairy intolerance was met with a smile and reassurance. We ordered 3 plates each as per the recommendation along with a few margheritas, definitely can recommend the caramelized pineapple margherita and apple ones.
One of our party's dishes didn't arrive, however when we pointed this out, she was offered for it to come right out or to take it off the bill. She was full so we just cancelled it.
Definitely a place to go for a fun atmosphere with friends. Will definitely be back.
I went there for a quick lunch as they have a lunch formula. I chose a taco, quesadillas with mexican rice. There were other options in lunch formula.
Took both as chicken tinga. The quesadillas are more filling than the tacos. They are rich in ingredients. The tacos were good and very light.
I popped in here for a very quick lunch and what a treat! The food was delicious, I loved the vibe and the service was amazing! If you love Mexican food - this place comes highly recommend!
Wasn't expecting much for this place but I will now eat my own hat. There was actually flavour in the food compared to every other "mexican" place around. I couldn't eat my food fast enough. Or have enough. The service was standard. Just another number in the books but wasn't terrible. I also would love to know what the floor manager shouts from the pass at the kitchen. Confused me the entire time there.
I was actually there last summer and they have some outside seating which was so much fun. Their Tapas ( Small plates ) are great to have .. a little on the expensive side for the quantity but worth a try for the quality.
This place looks great and the staff is quite pleasant and efficient. The food is great in general, especially the Burrito. The classical margaritas need to be improved a little but they are not bad.
Magnificent margaritas - strawberry or mango. Had the nachos (with home made salsa and guacamole) to start with whilst perusing the menu. Ordered vegetable quesadillas, queso fundido (cheese fondue) and the stuffed chicken chimichanga. All very tasty and very filling. Followed by a chocolate chilli ice cream to end the meal. Yum! Great atmosphere, tentative staff.
Took too long to step up from my regular Pinto fix and I wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed a working lunch.Great atmosphere, fantastic food and smashing price. Will return soon to sample more of menu and of course drinks
I didn't prebooked a table so had to wait 20 mins for a free table. While waiting I ordered me their signature margarita's. It was a refreshing goodness. About 10 mins later the staff came over and lead me to my table. I had a 3 different types of appetiser. It was yummy! I really like the place. The staff was very friendly and the service was great.
One of these days I hope to visit Mexico…and Texas, until then I will have to make do with the numerous restaurants in town. One of the newcomers is Topolabambas which is owned by the same people as Di Maggios and is celebrating its first birthday this weekend (with various deals – see here for details). According to the website the food is not Tex-Mex but authentic Mexican, based on dishes from the regions of Oaxaca, Chiapas, Chihuahua and Topolabampo.
Great atmosphere. There's a really good atmosphere in this place and we had quite a tasty Mexican tapas meal. The good: great food, buzzing vibe, lots of different tequilas and cocktails to try, a menu that should suit most and lovely staff. The bad: when you ask for a table they direct you the bar to wait even though tables are free and ready to go (just to get you to buy more drinks) , the food was really quick so less time to savour the wine for a bit and also they don't currently accept bookings for parties smaller than 5 people - you show up and wait for a table.
Overall a lovely night in here and I'd recommend the tequila and verdita afterwards.

Went there for predrinks and snacks, had margharitas and nachos, was such a good combination ?? they have the nachos with cheese and chorizo which was very recommended and for cocktails got strawberry and mango, mango one was better and u can taste less of the tequila
Went to try the Mexican food in Glasgow. Amazing taste, Great Prices and Just sufficient portions. Decor is amazing, staff is friendly and courteous. Definitely recommended.
Went here after a friend recommended it, and it was during the cycle race so super busy. Waitress was super nice, front of staff guy lacked a bit of personality. Atmosphere and food was delicious. I found 4 tapas plates too much for me to eat, but they happily put it in a takeaway box for me to finish off later. The family & I will eat here again when we are in Glasgow next time.
After wandering the empty streets on a rainy Tuesday evening. I found where everybody was! They were in here! After initially thinking it was so busy I didn't stand a chance of getting a table, I got a seat at the bar. A very polite lady at the bar made the experience extremely welcoming and suggested the foods to go for. The food was top notch, the atmosphere was electric and the service was friendly, welcoming and better than most high end restaurants. What a gem of a find!
Funky, colourful nice restaurant, amazing food and a big selection of drinks. I really like the Mexican food which has all the regulars, I had an Enchilada and my work mate had a Chimichanga both tasted amazing and the chips were good too. I'd love to try some of the cocktails next time I just couldn't do this time as we were driving.
Popped in here for lunch today and absolutely loved it! The owner was at the door and he was so helpful. They managed to fit us in for lunch even though we hadn’t booked. He went through the menu and showed me all the GF food I could eat. There were so many options! It was fab! The food came out so quickly and it was fantastic. We ordered off the main menu but there was also a lunch menu that looked fab. We highly recommend a visit to Topolabamba, the food was outstanding, the service was great and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Thanku!
Went for a lunch meal. The food was reasonably priced with a wide selection of options.
The food was very tasty and presented well. For a table of 6 was also delivered quickly.
Would recommend for a lunch bite to eat
Visited for a friends birthday, great little place if you’re in the mood for Mexican food! I got the fish tacos and they were crispy and so nicely seasoned! Crazy corn and guac also excellent. Overall 10/10 would come again. Also did not know prior to visiting but the beef and chicken are halal which is a nice little addition. Attentive service despite it being very busy. Keep it up Topolabamba!
Food was great. Cocktails were strong. Could have been a warmer welcome when we were being shown to our table, don't even think we got a hello and despite having a child we weren't offered a children's menu. The girl who took our order and brought our food was very pleasant and attentive though.

Honestly, wow! First time visiting, and I was surprised how quickly food came out once ordered as well as how hot it was. Especially for a busy Friday night. It's so incredibly delicious! If you've not been, I highly recommend it! Cocktails were really nice as well. I will definitely be back!
Visited before Christmas for the first time with another four people. Very clean and energetic atmosphere. Staff were lovely and willing to explain how to order and any items we were unsure of from the menu. Food was lovely and freshly made to order. Even the bathrooms were lovely themed. They are downstairs and unsure about disabled access. Will definitely be back especially for the cheese fondue!!! I love cheese!!!!!
