This is now our go-to Indian carry out. You never know quite what you'll get but apart from the samosa's which we find a bit stodgy, there is nothing that isn't good.
We had a spinach dish, a chickpea dish and a lentil dish and 3 rotis, all for less than £17 and half of it went into the freezer for another day.
Wonderfully tasty and tremendous value-for-money.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a cheap dinner for our night in Glasgow. We found this place and absolutely loved it. Such a great deal with Dahl and naan for only 3.95 pound. The inside is very quaint and nicely lit. Relaxing place to eat and you will leave feeling satisfied and happy !
Really liked the food. The food was of a typical homemade spicy Punjabi nature. The waiting time is long and it's a bit crowded at peak hours. But the wait is worthwhile :)
Great authentic, freshly prepared vegetarian food. Ample portions, friendly staff. More café than restaurant with large table and bench seats. Always a friendly atmosphere among staff and clientele. I always look forward to my next visit.

Amazing food chana paneer is very good and pranthas are awesome love to visit again...........................................................
This beautiful wee family-run restaurant serves authentic Panjabi food in the heart of Glasgow’s Southside. The food is plentiful and is really not expensive for the amount of food you get. We weren’t too sure what to order so we got some help from the staff and we definitely weren’t disappointed!

This quaint little shop is nothing short of spectacular. It honestly is just equivalent to the most authentic home cooked food by your favourite auntie. You can't go wrong with anything you choose so I would just outright recommend everything on the menu. It's a very small restaurant though so you may be waiting if you go at busy times.
It's rare to find a place that can replicate the taste of homemade food so authentically.
If you're looking for a place that serves food with a homely touch, Their thali is a must-try, and I'm already looking forward to returning for another comforting meal.
Gem of a place!
The best clean, vegan food you will find in Glasgow (and the very best vegetable pakora out there)!
Ranjit's Kitchen offers an incredible Indian dining experience. The flavors of their Vegetable Paratha, Dal of the Day, Aloo Paratha, and Chai were pretty decent. The service was excellent, and the cozy ambience added to the overall charm. Highly recommended
Beautifully hand made authentic Indian food all vegan or vegetarian. The Samosas are awesome. Rotis done perfectly. Try the Thali - it's superb. And don't leave without trying the sweets and cha. Seriously, on my first visit I felt like I was as a wee girl again, sharing a feast, my family round to the table. Wonderful. Thanks so much. We will be back, for sure.
Delicious food as always! Friendly staff! Not that many spaces to sit in since it's so busy!
I love Ranjit's. I've always had amazing, fresh and tasty food, whenever I've been. It's delicious, so so flavoursome and as a vegetarian, it's so nice to have a Indian restaurant where I can eat anything and everything... in great excess. Happy tummies 😊
New pic, still all amazing 😊
Adding to the superlatives.
Brilliant restaurant.
Delicious food. Friendly people.
Managed two visits in a week.
We ate in but take-aways were also flying out all the time we were there.
Lovely, small, family-run. No reservations. When we turned up, it was quite busy and no tables were available, however the owner was kind enough to take a mobile number, so we could stroll over the road for a quick drink while waiting. He called us when the previous table was getting ready to leave - so we arrived spot on time.
Love this place. We have visited with our two kids. It was busy and had to wait a bit. But the food was outstanding (authentically Indian) and staff very friendly. Even though the menu was entirely vegatatian, the kids loved it. Really good value and would recommend it to any who loves a meatless diner.
My mum and I had a wonderful dinner here - it felt like we were eating at home. The whole team really cares about the food, and the joy that it brings to people in the community (and visitors!). The ingredients were all super fresh, the pakoras crispy and not greasy, and the lassi was the best I've ever had!
