Wow. Best food when eating out in a long time. Lovely big portion, great flavours, and beautifully presented. I had sourdough toast with fried eggs, halloumi, hummus, pickles, pomegranate, and more! Really was amazing. I sat outside people watching , love it. I would highly recommend it, and there are heaps of choices on the menu for all diets.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning, was told it would be a 45 min wait, but ended up being much shorter! The service and the food were both great. I ordered the avocado and salmon on toast, and a Vietnamese coffee. The salmon was good, super filling, but I think I would’ve preferred for it to be smoked salmon instead. The coffee was amazing, I’d definitely recommend it! My friend had the shakshuka and really enjoyed it, great vegetarian option. I paid £14 for the salmon and the coffee, it was fantastic value for money, would happily come here again.

Best brunch in the UK. There we said it. We regularly travel from the midlands to stay in Shawlands and cafe strange brew is a big reason for this. The veggie hash is insane, as are the pancakes. The coffee is great. Super service. Incredible value for money.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Had to wait around 45 minutes in the pouring rain for a table, so beware the inevitable queue, but it's more than justified. The food is just brilliant, highly recommend anything with black pudding.

Delicious tasty food, welcoming and friendly staff thought we might have to wait a while for a table as very popular but a well organised system ment we only had a 15 minute wait a it was well worth it 😋

This is worth the visit as I live on the west side. This has been recommended by my south friends as well. It's suitable for vegan and vegetarians. It's got around 10 tables inside and 3-4 tables outside. The quality of the food is just superb and reasonably priced. You might have to queue, though, as it is a popular place in the south. I got in the place around 9:15 and the tables inside are already full. I'd highly recommend sitting on the table outside as it's a bit congested and noisy on the inside. I imagined the food would take time to be prepped, but it only took them 10 mins tops to serve me this beautiful pancake. Servings are huge and perfect for brunch. You would already know that they serve quality coffee as they source their beans from Dear Green. I love how you could taste so much flavour in their espresso (it could do better though texture-wise). I'd recommend their americano though, as the volume matches the food quantity. I can't wait to try their other selections from the menu.

Really enjoyed it. Only downside was having to wait so long for a table. Once in, we were served quickly, food was great with really interesting options and reasonable prices. The portion sizes could be reduced a bit IMO esp. pancakes, you certainly don't leave unsatisfied!

Had been told great things of this place and had unsuccessfully attempted a visit previously. A trip south today and well worth it. Menu had everything from traditional morning rolls to burritos, pancakes and baked eggs. Something for everyone. Quality and portion size for the price was outstanding. Service was lovely. Atmosphere was cosy and warm. I can’t wait to go back

Really good vegan and vegetarian options. They are reasonably priced and the service is really good. I got the Vege Hash and it was probably the best I have had till date.

This is just an excellent place for breakfast or brunch, with great service. The food is incredible, with great portions and a decent range of choice on the menu. Service was amazing - attentive and chatty. Just generally very nice people. We were in for a good while and didn’t feel rushed to leave, even as the queue was building up outside. They allow dogs in - it’s clear the staff are animal lovers! I loved it - can’t wait to go back.

Went for my first visit on Saturday just past and my goodness I'll be coming back again! I had just went to a Funeral before visiting Cafe Strange and this place did indeed lift my spirits up after great anticipation made from my big sister who recommended the place to me. Naturally I'm a savoury guy, so I went for one of the Specials (Yes I treated myself well for a first visit I know) which consisted of nice Brioche Buns with a Homemade Hash Brown, Fried Egg, Spinach, Spring Onion, Halloween Cheese and Chilli Jam and my God it was delicious! This recipe should be on a Restaurant menu! To match a I had a Kids size Hot chocolate which was actually very cheap and a perfect size. My family had Pancakes which were also very nice. For an £11 Lunch (my stuff only) it was spot on from the attentive service given by everyone on shift to the cosy atmosphere! I work for Greene king and in a much busier place myself, so I know how important guest welfare is and this place ticked all the boxes for me. I sincerely have every hope that this place succeeds massively and can't wait to be back!

Amazing service and food. One must visit if u are in Glasgow. Worth the hype and the wait. We were told to wait for 30-45 mins.. But we're called in just after 15 mins. Loved their egg Benedict with smoked salmon. Also their Mexican skillet. Their hot chocolate was to die for. Overall loved the experience.

Could not have better things to say about this place. Firstly the staff are funny, good with recommendations and the right level of attentive. I went here for birthday breakfast with my partner and we got three dishes. All massive portions, great value for money. Child friendly too, with lots of babies and toddlers welcome too. On the food, probably the best pancakes in Glasgow. 10/10
