First visit here. Wasn't too impressed waiting 45min for our food to come but then it arrived & have to say it's the best meal i've enjoyed in a long time & well worth the wait. Nice friendly staff, good atmosphere & great background music playing too. They really could do with some aircon or fans tho as being so small it was really very warm. Would def return & recommend to friends.
Our 1st time at Cocktail & Steaks but definitely won't be our last. From walking through the Door, our first impressions were fantastic - a great ambience & very fitting decor. The Menu sounded delicious & it certainly was! All six of of us thought the Steaks were the best we've eaten. Our extra sides of Trufle Mac n Cheese (my mouth is drooling writing this!!!), the asparagus, even the bread, olives & onions to start were devine! We had two lovely girls serve us too & they couldn't have done enough for us & really made our evening! p.s. Great Cocktails also.

I would give 10 stars if I could, amazing atmosphere, food and top class staff, my graduation dinner turned into a surprise engagement when my partner proposed and the staff were fantastic, they could not have done more for us and made the night extra special, can't wait to go back for another great night.
My first time at the restaurant and certainly won't be the last... The place itself is lovely, the decor is very nice... The food was beautiful. I ordered from the festive menu and was very happy with the food and service, I did wait a while between my starter and main though but it was worth the wait for the food.
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed, the food was amazing. The Camembert starter was lovely, also came with a generous amount of toast, could easily have been a sharing starter. The steak was to die for, so tender with plenty of flavour, definitely one of the best I’ve had. Loved the cocktails & after hearing that there’s going to be more added to the menu, I’ll definitely be back soon.

We've been to Cocktails & Steaks twice, and although rare, we've had excellent food, service and drinks.
All that, coupled with some excellent music, which really makes both of the above, even better.
We would recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food, and somewhere nice to eat it.

First time visit yesterday and will definitely be back - the decor is great the two female staff who were in were so friendly and helpful - the pornstar martini was delicious! Had the pre theatre option and our food was cooked to perfection couldn’t fault them at all - thanks for a lovely Sunday lunch

Food and cocktails were excellent, the staff couldn't have been nicer and certainly knowledgable about the menu and the food they were serving, which makes a difference ! Importantly for us too, they made the children welcome and we will be back.
I was at the the restaurant yesterday, decor is amazing. The food was absolutely fantastic. The service was top notch. Very attentive and gave some great recommendations on what to chose and drinks to match. Would definitely recommend and look forward to the next visit!!

Staff very attentive, mocktails also amazing! Food was lovely, fresh, steak tender and all home made!! Vegetables were just right! Next time it will be cocktails!! Can’t wait to visit again!
Tried for the first time tonight. Couldn't fault anything , 10/10. Bone marrow butter and truffle mac and cheese were a highlight. I will be back for a tomahawk!
Absolutely loved my first visit here. The food was fantastic and the service top notch! Can't fault it at all! Noted on my booking it was a birthday dinner so they took one of the cocktails off the bill. Decor is really quirky, rustic and atmospheric. Our server Kerri was brilliant! Olives and warm bread were brilliant, steak was cooked to perfection!
An impromptu visit and we were able to get a table. Food was delicious, both had burgers and the sticky toffee pudding was yum. Staff were very attentive even although they were busy. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Booked here for my mother in laws 65th birthday meal. Everyone loved they're meal. Everything was perfect from the staff to the food, couldn't fault a thing. We will definitely be back for one of the best steaks around. You need to try the sticky toffee pudding!
The food was excellent. I had sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Others had the steak and said it was also excellent. Attention to detail and overall presentation was perfect . The staff were lovely and apologised because we had to wait more than usual but it was well wort the wait . The food and its preparation were of the highest quality.

Beautiful dinner, went as a late afternoon/ early evening dinner, service was spot on, attentive without be overly fussy. The food was nothing short of gorgeous. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely return
Great intimate restaurant on Uddingston main Street. Great food and cocktails as the name indicates. Food was unfussy and well executed. Steak was really medium rare and the staff coped well with dietary requirements. Dinner for 4 with starters , main and a few cocktails came to 50gbp per head not bad all in all.

Been here a few times good selection from menu however the service this time was very slow and a few times had to remind the waitress to bring over missed drinks but overall wouldn't put me off returning

Had a delicious Chateaubriand for my birthday dinner, only let down by the cold tomato served with it. When I complained I was told it was only a garnish. If that’s the case don’t bother cooking it and serve me an uncooked cold tomato not a cold cooked one. The response from the chef was the most disappointing. Admit your mistakes.
It hit all the buttons. Sure it is a stretch in the cost of living crisis and so not a regular visit. However, it delivered taste, value, quality and atmosphere. I rate it
