Lovely food in a lovely setting. Fresh ingredients straight from the garden. A welcome respite along the coast to coast path. Do not miss this beautiful oasis.
Lovely, fresh cheese & mustard scone and two good brews. It's a great spot to pause during a walk - very much worth the effort to divert up the hill from the Esk Valley Walk path if you're passing Glaisdale.
What a special place. The garden is exquisite, tended with care and consideration for the eco-system, and cleverly designed for a journey of discovery. Lovely friendly people and outstanding home baked scones. We will be back.
Bob maintains a beautiful garden with a lot of art and surprises. Cozy benches every where. Take plenty time to explore. Plants are properly labeled with their name and year of planting.
Bev runs a tearoom with delicious cakes and scones. both sweet and savoury, making it difficult to choose 😁

A great stop for scones and tea...even a delicious home made soup! Friendly hosts and nothing too much trouble. Then to a wonderful walk around the stunning gardens..gorgeous flowers in bloom. Surprises throughout the gardens.
lovely homely place to stop for a snack! beautifully homemade scones and everything used (cups, plates etc) are recyclable.
on top of that, the view is beautiful!!
definitely recommend the lemonade scone with jam and cream!
Lovely little cafe with outdoor seating (some under cover) and tranquil views
Beautiful setting for these tea rooms. Nice range of homemade cakes with many different scones. Just a short walk from the main path and definitely worth it.
Absolutely loved this gem. Like a mirage appearing before our eyes whilst doing te Coast to Coast Walk! Lovely cup of tea and scone in such beautiful garden surroundings. Recommended.
Lovely home grown and home made soups and scones in an amazing terraced garden. We had a lovely lunch break here on the penultimate day of our coast to coast walk.
