Got lovely fish & chips from here late Sept 23. Busy place when ordering at the takeaway fish bar - you had to be on the ball and know your order (the local boys surely did) ! You did feel as if you hesitated for a second you were going to get scowled at 😬😅. Interesting & worth a visit for good food
One of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The fish were nice and soft, don't even need a knife to cut it. The batter was so lovely I could've eaten it on its own. 10/10 would come again.

Called in at lunch time, steps up to door and one of party in wheelchair, not too much of an issue as portable ramp brought out by staff so could get through the door. Food good simple and old fashioned, chose pie and chips. pie was full of meat with chip shop chips, sandwiches made fresh to order.
