Visited midweek on an afternoon. The service was very good, our waitress was called Jade and she was very pleasant. Food was a little slow arriving, however we weren't overally in a rush.
Pizza was tasty, although not quite on par with other Pizza express restaurants that I've visited. We also had doughballs which were nice. It's worth downloading the pizza express app to get offers on the food. Our bill came to a reasonable £22.
A pizza was a great size and really tasty. We also had a small dessert with a coffees. We loves go for a chocolate brownie with latte. The restaurant was quiet and staff are very friendly. Very comfortable to stay and good for gatherings.
Amazing service! We went for a birthday meal, service was absolutely excellent, food came really quickly and staff efficient, friendly and went above and beyond. Everyone enjoyed their food. First time we have visited the Giltbrook restaurant and we’ll definitely be back.
I was in the area quite late at night after driving over 2 hours in the rain (to collect an IKEA order!) and Pizza Express was one of the only places still open where I could get some food. The team were very accommodating and the takeaway I ordered was prepared quickly (and tasted great too)! They even offered me some ice cold water whilst I waited. Thank you very much, you made my evening :)
Just had a lunchtime meal at Pizza Express East Midlands Outlet. Great service staff helpful and pleasant. Food really good. Had a birthday dinner at Pizza Express Giltbrook. There were 6 in our party and all had a starter and Pizza. The food was excellent service was quick. Staff were very friendly and friendly.
We've been visiting this restaurant since it opened and tonight's pizza was probably one of the best we've ever had.
It arrived perfectly dressed, hot, perfectly cooked and was so tasty.
We did mention this to the staff. They'd done a brilliant pair of pizzas and clearly doing a fantastic job
The pizza is good in general, some staff is more frendly than others, days and days, but let's talk about food.
Pro:
- The new menu brings a good variety of pizza
- The classic crust pizza is a good-ish size if you are not starving, otherwise you might need two of them
- Caltzonne is quite large and full with goodies
Cons:
- If you want a Romana pizza you have to pay extra as the pizza is considerably larger than the normal one
- Even if you pay extra for the larger one, the toppings are the same quantity. Practically they strech the dough and they spread the same amount of toppings
- If you order caltzonne you might risk from time to time to get a salad that is not very presentable as the vegetables are not always fresh, but soggy
Overall, a good place to have a pizza 🍕 😋
The service was friendly and the food was like most other PEs of good quality. The venue has free parking outside as well as tables outside. Would recommend.
It was really busy for a Wednesday night. We had to wait for a bit but were shown to table and made seated. There was delay in service and good but were informed of it before being seated.Pizza was ok and the flat bread was good to taste.But then we had to wait and wait for someone to come and take our dessert order. I would still go for a four star as giving it a benefit of doubt that it was just that particular night, they were short of staff.

Last week we dropped into our local pizza express in Giltbrook to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, as we had had the pleasure of dining in the Gretna Green branch the night before we got married last year. We were seated quickly & Lucy came to introduce herself, she had a lovely warm welcoming smile, we asked if by any chance they had Irn Bru, sadly they didn't, but it opened a lovely conversation about our experience in Scotland & hers, she was so friendly & also very knowledgeable about the menu, she really helped make our evening & the food was delicious. We opted for the Romana pizza, it has a beautiful super thin base, with really tasty toppings. If like us you have trouble choosing just one topping for your pizza, they offer the option of half and half which was great, my husband particularly enjoyed the La Cubana, pulled pork with salsa & lime & the bbq brisket burnt ends & i love the goats cheese with caramelised onions & the chestnut mushrooms with rosemary. Also the cheesy dough balls are a must! Sadly we didn't have room for desert, but they looked yummy. We will be visiting again soon. Thank you very much for a really great experience.
Friendly and helpful staff especially Georgia who was very helpful with the little one. Food was nice unfortunately we couldn't have dessert as baby wouldn't let us but definitely worth a visit and they accept clubcard vouchers 😀
Excellent food and service. Lucy our waitress was extremely polite and helpful for a relatively large group booking. Will definitely return again soon.
