Great carvery for Sunday lunch... Although the knives weren't sharp enough to cut through the roast beef. Very busy... So booking is a must. Also very loud... Great for groups. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely on the pricier end of the Sunday roast scale.
Lovely evening meal. Nice menu with good selection, food beautifully presented and well cooked, good portion size. Felt a little rushed to get the order in at the start, we were asked about 3-4 times if ready for the order for drinks and food choices. Maybe a little over attentive at the start befor
It's been a while since the last time we were here. But the Carvery didn't disappoint, ir was amazing, the beef cooked rare, turkey was juicy, and the pork with cracklyn amazing, then you have all 5 veg and potatoes...... Pudding was sticky toffee & ice cream 😋
Went here for Sunday roast and it was very good, especially the starters. I had the liver pate and my friend had the goat cheese souffle which was honestly the star. The carvery itself was nice, but due to the time we went (around 15:30), the potatoes had gotten a bit dry. The cheese cauliflower was
Delicious food and nice atmosphere. The smell of the restaurant as I walked in was great! The service was very nice and everyone is helpful and polite. The furnishings are great. It’s a great spot for a romantic dinner or a semi-formal o formal meal with friends. I would definitely go back and reco
You won't find the same menu. Being a vegetarian I usually have not more than two choices on the menu. But the choices are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is an experience to dine at the grey goose! Highly recommended!
Superb Sunday carvery with all the trimmings and excellent service. We arrived at midday for Sunday lunch with 11 guests aged 2 to 73. The warm welcome, friendly service and comfortable environment made us feel at home immediately. The carvery was £14 per head for adults, £9 for children and £4 for
Always had really nice meals here. Have been here a few times before and will be back again. If I was pressed to give a negative, the only thing I could say is that on our last visit one of the mains wasn't overly warm - but we let the waitress know and it was quickly rectified.
Had a lovely time with our friends. Service excellent. It was a catch up "date" so had lots to talk about and wasn't rushed off our table. The main meal wasn't quite so good but starters and puds excellent
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a 3 courses. The restaurant is always very clean and inviting. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious.
Updated review - The steak is still exceptional! The best I can get in the area im sure. Waiting staff were very attentive too. Definitely will keep coming back, as long as the bank balance allows! 😅
We celebrated a birthday party here in The Grey Goose’s private dining room! Completely blown away by the fantastic service from booking-in through to the food! Very helpful and polite staff. The food was very delicious with generous portions and amazing presentation! Would highly recommend The Grey
Excellent eatery . Service impeccable, food delicious and spent a very relaxing few hours in this lovely place.
Really pleased with the service and the food! The staff were very attentive with a great atmosphere. I would really recommend the Prawn and Chorizo risotto which was beautiful.
