Myself and my partner drive from 5 towns over to go to Chans, no one compares, I have been loyal to them since I was about 8 years old. The staff are lovely and they always make great food that stays hot the whole journey back home!
Went into shop just after 5pm.
Left around 5mins later with chow mien, Satay Chicken, sweet&sour chicken balls, veg spring rolls and egg fried rice (£27).
They threw in extra spring rolls and prawn crackers to the order.
The food was fantastic, we had tried Gillingham Chinese further up the road but was quite disappointed with the quality and taste of the food.
We were going to look outside of Gil to find a good Chinese takeaway as the reviews hadn’t been the best for Chans, but thought we should at least try Chans once.
I am so glad we did, the food was great, price as all Chinese takeaways a bit more on the expensive side but well worth the money.
Chans now has 1 more regular customer.

We love Chan's, we treated ourselves this weekend and had a fabulous takeaway from Chan's. The food is delicious and portion size generous - the best takeaway that we have been to.
Love a good Chinese. Ordered from here the first time and it was great. Huge portions, nice Chow Mien, Satay Skewers were lovely. Great quick service and they even put a free bag of prawn crackers in the bag
Excellent Chinese takeaway. Had food a few times, and it is always good, freshly cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. It does get busy and there is sometimes a wait (being so good does make it popular). I’ll happily go again, and again.

Great food, and very busy. Collected as the wait for delivery was over the hour. Easy to park as car park opposite, although people do land outside and cause havoc.

Best Chinese takeaway in Gill/Shaftesbury. Sometimes get the order wrong but the food is good quality.
After moving here from the south east it's nice to find a good quality Chinese takeaway that opens on a Tuesday.
