My visit was a treat from my friend, she had been before but I hadn’t. I was delighted although it was busy the timing between each course was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive the food was excellent. It was fresh, piping hot and delicious. I most certainly will be going again and have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family. Well done Honorable Pilot Cookhouse + Pub

Went there twice for lunch. A cozy local pub that provided good food at good value. So much ingredients for a delicious classic cheeseburger and club sandwich. Would be good if there are more tea options available.

Family dinner out. Sunday carvery was great usually most places are dry and soggy. The main menu items were small in portion but nice enough. The kids meal however was the worst of everything. Regardless I would come back again no hesitation. Thanks

Really good food, big portions couldn't eat it all 😊 friendly and helpful staff. Will revisit in the future. Only reason I give a 4 stars, only downside is that the entrance for cars is a bit convoluted, close to a roundabout - you need to be careful not to miss your exit and the entrance is on the left hand side as for the Holiday Inn - may be difficult for someone who doesn't know the area which way to go.

I came for breakfast and surprised by its selling point for unlimited breakfast. Decently priced, kids eat free deal and you'll be happy with a full belly. Table service for cooked food and cold items like pastries, cereal, bread, drinks are available from the buffet area. Quiet in the mornings if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere

As we were staying at the Premier Inn we ate here. The young man serving us was lovely, very polite, friendly and apologetic when some items were unavailable. However, the food is pretty average. My husband had the roast chicken dinner, but there were no "roast carrots", only boiled ones, and no cabbage at all. You get what you pay for, I guess, it's cheap and easy when you just need some food, but we wouldn't rush back. Full marks for our waiter though , he was fab!

Easy access and plenty of parking. We were greeted on arrival, which was pleasant. The staff all seem attentive. Once we had ordered our meals, we didn't have wait long. The meals themselves were delicious no complaints.

On business for the week, so stayed in the Premier Inn next door with the meal deal (2 course evening meal a drink and breakfast) and ate in here all week . The food was good quality well cooked, friendly staff but service was slow on a couple of occasions. There's a play area for the kids. Good range on the menu at a good price. Breakfast was cooked to order and the usual range of cerial and pastries.

Typical premier inn pub food and girls on service were exceptional. Food was very nice and hot, didn't come out too fast and wasn't rushed

Molly served us and she was great - my son has an allergy which is quite unusual and she took the time to check and tell us about food which would be affected. The food was ready promptly and tasted lovely. Thank you all!

Clean, tidy environment. The food was perfectly fine for a 2 for £10.99 deal and our waitress, Jenny was extremely professional and efficient. Will definitely be back.

I came here today for breakfast with my son. We arrived quite late but, this wasn’t a problem. Fresh food was brought out constantly, right up until 11:00. Considering how busy it was, the staff did a sterling job of clearing the tables and keeping the whole place tidy. The staff were also very friendly. The food was great. Overall, we both had a very enjoyable breakfast. A very easy 5 stars. 😊

Food was good. Although bill was £22.98. When I checked payment was charged £28.08.Brought drinks at bar. carvery obviously self service so ultimately was charged over£5 to be brought the bill. Not happy with that.

Came for breakfast, food was lovely, great value and cheap. £10 each, kids eat free. Much higher quality then I was expecting. Would just be nice to see the tables cleared
