We have been to Rowlands on many occasions and have never been let down by the food or service. The food is lovely especially the Chinese pork. Nothing was too much for the waitress and she answered all our questions regarding booking for a birthday dinner.
Great night. Good food. Satay sauce was bang on - yes I'm still going on about it! Chicken in brandy sauce was amazing. I'm a foodie and portion size was huge (I couldn't finish it). Staff polite and friendly. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Will definitely be going again.
Went tonight for a meal, staff were lovely and answered any queries we had, especially as we had a vegetarian, everyone's food was hot and plentiful...been before a few years back and was really nice then, Don't know why we don't go more often!! Would definitely recommend highly l

Went again last night! We always book for special occasions! And we are never left dissapointed ! We had a large party and the waitresses were friendly quick and always asking if we needed anything, food was perfect ! My partner is a vegan and is always s hard to find a restaurant where we can all eat together, we phoned a few days before and the chef took his time to come out of the kitchen and speak to my partner, and discussed options for him ! Brillant ! He done him a 3 course meal (vegan) very impressive and he said tasted amazing ! Brillant restaurant
Love the food here. We came on Sunday and the steaks were amazing. My Dad said that he had the best mixed grill ever, all the meat was very lean. Will definitely be back �

Treated my mum and daughter to dinner here for the first time. Lovely restaurant lovely atmosphere staff were very friendly. Food was AMAZING!!!! (Fillet steak new potatoes and salad was to die for) Didn't order a starter but couldn't manage a dessert. Will definitely go back again �

Brilliant service I came In here the other week with my girlfriend and daughter and they were very helpful from start to finish even down to bringing over toys to keep the little one entertained, food was exquisite I will definitely come again �
Great night out with our son and his children and our great grandchildren to celebrate his birthday brilliant service and fantastic food and the staff was brilliant and the gammon was top notch will be back.

Great restaurant with a very reasonable set menu. It's not changed a lot here in many years, food, service or decor but in this case that is a good thing as they serve excellent food at a good price. It is nearly always busy, so I like the approach of if it's not broken, then don't fix it. Keep up the good work.
Really loved the experience. It's the first time I've been there and I really enjoyed it. Staff were really attentive, and the service was great. The meal was lovely, Apologies for the fact that I was hungry, so there were no pictures. I would totally recommend this place.
I was at Rowlands with my workmates. Loved it the atmosphere. The food was delicious.
I was a bit disappointed that there was no apple pie or apple crumble, but plum crumble did the trick. It was delicious.
The salamon with broccoli was perfect.
Other than the food, the bartender was friendly and polite, all the staff was friendly.
The bistro it self is a bit outdated. Could do with a little paint and upgrading.
Staff are very friendly, they accommodated a large group of us for a christmas dinner.
I quite enjoyed the satay chicken starter. The mains I opted for Mediterranean chicken but found it very dry so probably will avoid that one. The pudding was absolutely scrumptious! I loved the chewy meringue it was gorgeous.
Cocktails were quite nice too.
Food quality is very good with good portion sizes for meal price. Great variety on the menu. Very attentive service and lovely atmosphere. There is dedicated free customer parking at the back of the restaurant too. Looking forward to another visit and sampling more of the menu.
