Would really recommend, beautiful place and not far from Sea front. Rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day with fresh towels and tea/water refilled, beds were very comfortable too. Staff were very friendly and happy to help, made to feel welcome upon arrival and every morning. The food was delicious at breakfast had a good selection. Overall a lovely place that i would go back to. Thank you for making it a pleasant stay.
Just got home. Stopped here for a couple of nights as a base to discover some of suffolks coast line and so glad we stumbled across this place.
Friendly welcome from the owners and the staff. Can't fault the food, had the breakfast and booked an evening meal on our last night, both top notch. Bar has a large selection of drinks. Rooms ideal, very clean and tidy and a nice big comfy bed. Would highly recommend.
Six of us travelled from.near ipswich to.try the carvery on Sunday and it was amazing ghe staff really helpful the chef accommodating us with a salad for one of our party it looked so tasty the selection on the carvery for veg and meat was great all so tasty and the gravy didn't disappoint dessert was great also and portions generous the at had a really relaxed feel we arrived at 4 stayed till after 8 to listen to the music we all.loved it and will be coming back.

Lovely welcome, very comfy well decorated room,the staff were great we were late to order food but the chef agreed we could bar food, scrummy jacket potato with chilli an a fresh Waldorf salad ... excellent value overnight stay

Friendly, helpful staff. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was amazing, best pub roast dinner Iv ever had. Really can't fault the place in any way. Will def be bringing my family back again soon. Keep up the fab work :-) x
We made a very quick decision to visit The Swan Motel and we're very pleasantly surprised. The meal took a bit of time but thats standard with us because we like our meat very well done. I did tell the owner, (I think) that it was the best meal I had, and my husband throughly enjoyed his lunch too. The grounds are beautiful. From Keith & Ruth Everett.
Hadn't been to the swan for about 10 years, I have now been for a meal here 3 weeks on the trot 😊 Cannot praise this place enough, fantastic meal,fantastic service. Will be back very soon. 😊

What a lovely place. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We were there for a private function which they catered for with plenty of freshly made food and choices plus catered for any specific dietary requirements too.

Had one of the best roast dinner in Suffolk. And I have been to quite a few . Great location staff are brilliant. Dinners from 12 am to about 7pm in the evening on Sunday . Very clean toilets alway mean clean kitchen. Well done all
A Saturday lunchtime for two. Usually v busy at the Swan but unusually quiet. Friendly staff & excellent food - which I'd rate at 4/5 star for quality & quantity anywhere. Also very reasonable prices for the standard served to us. Difficult to rate a location as it depends what visitors are looking for. Not in easy walking distance of Beccles but easy access from main routes and plenty of free parking. Usually best to book ahead.
We're not local to the area and stumbled across the swan motel. We all had the Sunday carvery which was amazing it tasty really home made which is rare for a carvery, but it all tasted fresh and was hot. Its the best roast we've ever had,better than any Toby carvery that we've been to. I highly recommend.
Had a great stay at the Swan Motel. Phoned beforehand if we could park up in our campervan and all was ok as long as we used the bar/restaurant.
The meals were great, plentiful and great value for money, as were the beers too!
The staff were attentive and very professional and made us feel very welcome.
We will certainly stay and eat here again in the future.
Been there with my wife 4 times now
as we both like it there , food is very good ...... service is good but could be better ..... it was my wife's birthday today so trested her to a meal there along with my step daughter, the lady who took our mains order was OK but could have been better.
The portions sizes are HUGE! great value for money and very very tasty. Great quality as well. Would definitely recommend for food. I also stayed over for work and the room was modern and spacious with a comfy bed. Only issue is no internet/netflix working on TV but this is a minor issue.

Great place, staff friendly and helpful, rooms decent size and a comfy bed, bathroom floor cold. It was winter when we visited. Breakfast was very nice and the food looked tasty. The outside space is really nice and well lit. It would be great in the summer to sit outside.
Went for a meal here last night with friends. 100% recommended. Food was lovely, service was friendly,nothing was any trouble, lovely decor, lovely atmosphere. Will 100% be going there again. 100 stars.
Went to restaurant. Very busy. Had to wait a while for our food which was very good when it eventually arrived.
Bit disappointed with menu. Needed more choice of food without chips.
Will come again. Staff were excellent on a day which was pushing them to limits. All must have had good training. So good management.
