I've been coming to this restaurant for quite a while and in my opinion it's the best Indian bistro by a country mile.....everything from the food to the service is 5 star...staff amazing....food amazing....portion sizes are nothing like ive had before....atmosphere amazing..would highly recommend to anyone who loves Indian food....
Amazing family run restaurant and takeaway. Always made to feel welcome. Food is amazing, always freshly cooked to order. Will change the recipe to your tastes. Staff are always welcoming and have chat.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant I’ve eaten at in a long time! The service was fantastic, staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was beautiful - definitely the best I’ve had in Leeds and all for a great price. Thank you again, we’ll be back soon

Been going with friends and family over last the few months...... having tried Indian cousin all over the country, I must say this is far the best I have had. Staff are friendly, bright vibrant atmosphere and the food is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended it to everyone.

Our first visit last night first impression spotlessly clean floors tables etc nice comfortable chairs welcoming atmosphere met by cheerful waiter who gave us a good table by the window all the staff very friendly and well presented we ordered chicken tikka starter and masala fish both cooked to order very tasty indeed fresh side salad our mains chicken spinach balti and Rajshani garlic chilli chicken rogan both good sized portions cooked to perfection my garlic chilli chicken was just spicy enough without blowing your head off plenty of garlic tasty chicken and lovely tasty fresh roasted tomatoes the Balti was just has tasty with a sauce to match individually cooked and served in its own pan neither dish greasy vegetable rice and two giant freshly made chapatti thank you for making our night special your food is just beautiful we will be back very highly recommended
Tried here for the first time based on reviews and didn't disappoint. Service was 2nd to none. Food was delicious portion sizes huge I couldn't finish mine. The bhajis are the best trust me you can share this starter.
Beautiful food, attentive staff. Quality food and fresh. Bonus for it being on the doorstep, but well worth travelling for.
Two great dishes tonight, a mushroom & paneer balti and a lamb Hasina (lovely mint taste). I always can tell a good curry by the effort of the pickle tray (6 choices!) It's a good solid curry restaurant!
First visit tonight for birthday meal. Fantastic food, good size portions would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely be going back.

After the recent refurb the Alishaan is really the best Indian restaurant in the area. Bhaji's are amazing, and the Chicken Tikka Balti really delivers. I've tried other places nearby, like Zoya, who give you smaller portions of worse food for more money. This place is well priced and does honest grub.
