The best ever family run fish & chips. Fresh & very tasty. A must for fish lovers. Very patient, professional and courteous owners. Try it once & you will travel miles to re visit.
Husband & wife team run a really good fish n chip shop, I have had fish n chips out of here every week for the past 7 years, always excellent, always fresh lovely white fish, I wouldn't go anywhere else now, cooked while u wait or phone thru & it will be ready, we are very lucky to have such a good
Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. Great value too, a medium cod n chips is more than enough. I have a big appetite!

Best chippy around the area. Taste just like it did when I was young. Even sell Rock for those who remember it. They have separate fryers. So not all the food is cooked together. That’s why the flavours are great. Would recommend to anyone who likes traditional fish and chip supper !!!
Best fish and chips ever...not sure why there are bad reviews, we live locally and have never had a bad experience. It's a lovely family run business, the fish is always crispy and never oily! Good portions as well.
Nice chips (not too oily) and same with the fish. Battered sausage was great, crispy and not greasy and top marks for the curry sauce. Staff are friendly too. Can’t go wrong 👍🏽
Excellent traditional chippy, I used to work at fish and chip shops on the seafront in Scarborough when I was younger (almost 20 years ago) and this is a rare time I've tried them outside of my home town... the haddock and chips is very good, always cooked fresh and the portions are very generous.

I can’t rate this ‘plaice’ (pardon the cheesy pun) highly enough. We’ve bought takeaway many many times now and it has always been first class.
With reference to the person criticising the owner, he is clearly not a ‘people person’ but does he really need to be when his product is this good?

Visited this place for the first time yesterday and had a superb meal. I had the basic cod, chips with mushy peas and it was excellent with very friendly service. I am pretty fussy about my takeaways but I will definitely be going back here again
I wanted a quick bite to eat at 1630. Walked in just after opening and had a fish burger and chips. I was expecting a basic square fish burger but instead I had a freshly battered and cooked chunk of fish. Perfectly cooked in a while roll. Chips were really fresh and obviously cooked in fresh oil. Great service, really friendly. Amazing fish and perfect chips. I go here occasionally, would go more but the opening times are a bit crazy, would 10/10 recommend.
