Fab fish 'n' chips best in the area. Generous portions. Tried a large mixed kebab, enough to fill two plates. Definitely worth a visit.
Good fishy, fried to order so nice n hot. Good batter on the fish which were a good size despite the current cost of living drama!
Prices weren't too bad either.
Was busy, but that's what you want to see in the fact that people are coming from all over to buy from there.

Very tasty cod and chips. Batter was crispy and the fish was fresh and white. The chips were also crispy and fluffy inside. Curry sauce was flavoursome, and the portions were more than enough. Alround, a very good experience.
Travelled Thursday night up from Manchester called at shop near closing time. The mince pie and chips were delicious. Lovely friendly staff.

The quality of the fish and chips is consistently excellent. You can also get two sizes of fish and chips which is great. You get a lot for your money and they are simply one of the best😎
Best fish and chips in the area without a doubt. This fishop is actually better then low fell fish bar and you don’t have to put up with the frosty face of the owner of low fell fish bar watching her staff to make sure she gives poor portions.
