The best Chinese I have found around here.I find it best to order by phone there doesn’t seem to be a minimum order as opposed to their website

The food is usually very nice but we have had several orders which were VERY late. Ordered at 6.45, came after 9.00 kind of late. And much quicker than the other timescales for nearby chinese takeaways. We had just tried the other highly rated chinese restaurant for a takeaway but earliest pick up was 1hr30 and delivery 2hrs+ but Xin Du was 15-20mins -

1st time my family had ordered food from here and it didnt disappoint we ordered
sweet and sour chicken balls
crispy duck rolls with hoisin sauce
duck pancakes
king prawn in black bean sauce
and a concoction of chips fried rice soft noodles and gravy and it was bloody lovely definitely be ordering a
Best Chinese take away in the north east. Food is always hot and delicious.
It looks a bit grubby and unloved from the outside but don't let the appearance put you off as the food is actually quite good and freshly prepared
