We were seated quickly and staff were extremely friendly and happy to advise. TOP TIP: if you want to know what each dish will look like from the menu, go onto the wagamama website; they are all pictured! A lovely night.

First time I have visited. Greeted by friendly, helpful staff and shown to table. My husband I both had the most delicious grilled duck donburi. I was surprised to see a fried egg on top of it but it went really well with the roasted duck and rice. Unfortunately, I ran out of space and could not finish it! I would definitely recommend.

Great vegan selection with even the drinks labelled, which I appreciate. There's usually a queue because of how popular the place is but the staff will usually provide a menu while you wait and seat you quickly and efficiently. You usually receive the server's name and every time I go we always have a good time. They will make recommendations and clarify anything you are uncertain of. Big props to the firecracker tofu and the vegan ramens, especially if you like spice.

Staff were friendly and helpful, noticed my son didnt eat his meal and offered to get something else. Food was great as always. Service was quick even though it was a busy bank holiday.

We had been sceptical to try wagamama as it would not be our usual go-to cuisine. However, our experience here was top-notch. The food was amazing and absolutely bursting with flavour. The staff were extremely helpful. There was nothing bad to say about the experience. We even had fun trying to use chopsticks for the first time.

Can't believe I'm about to say this but only recently lost my Wagamama v-plates (I know right, where have I been?! 🤣) - but went here for somewhere different for my besties birthday meal out and we will definitely be back! We ordered two starters and mains plus drinks (both "special drinks", none alcoholic but not just squash or pop either) and it was just a smidge over £50, which isn't bad to be fair. We both thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes. The food, and style of eating, is just that little bit different. Which is always a good thing! The staff were lovely, explained everything such as how the food comes out when it's ready rather than all together at once, meaning one dish could come before the other etc - it didn't bother us, in fact I liked the fact it was so blatantly fresh. Paying at the end was dead easy too just using the app to scan our barcode in off the table. Mega easy! Oh and another thing I liked, because of this there was no pressure to leave a tip. I mean I love TGIs but I do hate that they hang around with the card machine and you just know they're watching to see if you click yes or no fit the tip at the end 🙈🤣 All in all, we will definitely be back!

I visited Wagamama in the Metro Centre on 7th May 2022, it was my first time in any Wagamama despite several attempts to get there, it was a Child free weekend so we thought we would take the opportunity and give it a whirl. While lining up to get into the restaurant a man was handing out menus and took the time to speak to us, on being told that it was out first time there, he made several suggestions for first timers and happily spent time talking to us, it transpires that this Gent was actually the restaurant Manager (we discovered later). After only a few minute wait, we were seated and introduced to our Waiter, a nice Guy named Jack. Jack was also aware that we were first time customers and again was happy to offer advice on the menu items and also, crucially, the portion sizes. Drinks arriving quickly with the food following soon after with Jack making sure that the food arrived quickly. We followed the previous advice and ordered Duck Donburi and Chicken Teriyaki Donburi as well as the Hoisin Duck Buns as a side order. The food was incredible.....we both ate every last scrap and left the restaurant full. We then had a quick chat with the Manager who took time to re-visit our table to find out, as first time customers, what we'd ordered, what we'd thought of the food and also the service. Thankfully I was able to give him great feedback. the food, Jack who served us, everything had been 100% perfect and also confirmed with him that we would happily return to his restaurant. In fact, not 6 days later, we are already making plans to do so, the meal was THAT good. To sum up, I would and will, happily return. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly and the Manager seemed to take a real interest in new customers and their experience which is always a good sign. Thanks Jack and all the Team who dealt with us on our first meal there.....we will be back.

Seven of us went for a meal we were seated without waiting too long and our orders taken. Esme was given colouring pencils and pictures whilst waiting for our meal . Vegetarian options were great. Food was delicious and arrived quite promptly the drinks were delicious too although the did provide a drink that wasn't ordered.Would highly recommended.

First time me and the teenager have been. Been wanting to try for years but I'm a picky eater. So as teenagers do I got teesed in to going. And you know what. I loved It. You can tell which of the dishes was mine. But it was lush and a totally morish. One dish of this and was stuffed. The price is OK. If I took the whole brood ther either would be costly. But for 1 or 2 people it's managble.

One of the best restaurants that serves chicken Katsu curry. I also ordered the chili squid as a starter and it was great as well. The staff are friendly and they passed to ask if everything was good.

Great food and service and very allergy aware. The shirodashi pork belly ramen is delicious and Asahi beer brings back fond memories of Japan.

Popped in for an impromptu lunch while shopping. Arrived around 12:05 and were seated quickly. A small queue was building up after us though. Food was good. Tried some options I've not had before. I had a chicken donburi and my wife had the duck donburi. Very tasty.

I though the food was nice here, the staff were friendly enough. I was advised you could pay from the table but didn't realise you have to use a QR code as the apps available on app store for Waga aren't UK ones. I just thought the prices were rather high for the experience, especially the drinks. The meal I got tasted just like a Kimchi from Costco (which isn't a bad thing I guess!), the chicken was nice and tender. Been meaning to try this place for a while, but I'm afraid I'll be going for more bang for my buck in future.

Went during the holidays and the place had a nice family atmosphere. Polite and friendly service as soon as we entered, unfortunately server changed twice after dessert whilst trying to pay and made us feel a bit put out. The food is good but priced above what it should be. Gets busy quickly over lunch and we can see why. We will happily come back again for a nice meal but lunch for 2 can easily be £40 here so won't be a place we drop in for a quick bite while shopping.

The nicest staff. Food was lovely. My little boy decided to try ramen but one bite in he realised it wasn't for him. The staff were so helpful and replaced his meal with his usual fish bites free of charge. Just overall lovely service.
