Food was lovely staff friendly only thing I wasn’t happy about was flat strongbow dark fruits took it back waited ages to get sorted out then the refill was flat I gave up then will never drink that from there ever again food was absolutely amazing �
Great food and even better staff. Little shout out to Kim for making us all feel welcome and just generally being a warm and lovely waitress. Will Defo be back.

Had a lovely afternoon meal with my friends celebrating a birthday, the food was delicious and all the staff were very helpful and friendly considering how busy it was, they went out of their way to help....special shout out to Stevie, she was more than helpful and a credit to the pub!

We had burgers and chips, which seemed to take quite a while to cook. However, it was worth the wait as it was delicious.
Beautiful food, quick service, lovely serving staff. Very easy to pay. The only improvement needed was there was no soap in the toilet dispensers
It's a great restaurant if you want a nice, peaceful dining experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food tasted very nice and was pretty reasonably priced. I recommend this place if you want a cheap place to go with the family for a meal.

Always good food with good portions, amazing value for money.
I dont normally write reviews , but given my experience here today , I couldn't help but too.
Me and my partner turned up, only to find the restaurant fully booked , so we decided since the weather let us , we would get a take out and eat outside. This part of the experience really was disappointing and couldn't help but feel negatively.
As we were sitting outside we were immediately approached by Jamie (employee) , he made us feel great about the place again with his professionalism , kindness and initiative.
I have NEVER in my life had someone so dynamic and responsive to me , and I walked away totally unable to feel negative.
If it wasn't for this young man , it would have ruined my Sunday lunch. He deserves recognition for his service and in general his demeanour towards us.
Although it is a small gesture, Jamie really left us feeling valued as customers and literally made our day which is why I couldn't help but leave this review!

Lots of car parking spaces. Easy access for wheelchairs. Food is reasonably priced with a good carvery selection. There is cake or ice cream for dessert or to take home. Although it is a bit expensive and is not included with the meal. You can buy a drink to go with your meal. There's plenty of seating room inside and out. I would recommend you to book a table. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's no table service.
I have been twice for breakfast with my Mam recently, and the standard of food and service is excellent. Our server both times, Deborah, was very friendly and helpful. We travel from West Gateshead specifically to come here. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Absolutely love this place!! The food is always amazing and at a great price. Just to add a little extra, they had a section where kids could go and make their own homemade mothers day cards which I thought was so sweet!! Every time I have been there a certain staff member named Bryony who goes above and beyond any service I have ever received so I am extra thankful for that. All staff are always cheerful and polite always but she has always been that little bit extra 🥰 can't praise them enough!!

This is the best by far it was absolutely delicious. Carvary standard was like my dad's he used to make. And that takes some beating. The staff were brilliant back in tomorrow for the special buffet breakfast at 6.99 you can't go wrong.. Come on guys support this place 😁😁😁

Myself and my mam go here regularly we usually have a carvery meal, the food is always perfect, nice and hot gravy is to die for for (not literally) plenty of vegetable choices, and the desserts are amazing.... The staff are always friendly helpful and courteous.... Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.....
Great atmosphere with equally great service... went for the carvery. Meats always great... on this trip the veg was a little dry but that's to be expected when it's say under heating lamps for any length of time. Cheap and cheerful and always a staple.
They serve very large pints here, always have a lovely roast on the go, the deals are always very competitive and nice.
Food is indeed very nice, they have a habit of closing off some dining areas when they are clearly open and operating at full service, this frustrates me as the seats away from screaming kids in the soft play are in the area they close off.
Side note, I feel I need to share this but in no way seek to defame or deform the business or its associates. This is simply a personal account on self diagnosis.
We got the too-good-to-go Sunday roast one evening and I had gastroenteritis for a week. Never had it again but always beware of the dangers of food being kept warm. As I never took a stool sample, I could not report it officially.
Very pleasant and welcoming environment, friendly helpful staff, and an overall nice atmosphere to enjoy spending time with friends and family over some decent food.
Menu has a huge range of options ranging from hearty burgers to light salads, sharing platters, and pub-style classics. Ordering was relatively fast and easy, with prompt service and reasonably quick turn around. Prices are about average for this type of chain pub-style family restaurant.
The food itself was produced reasonably fast after ordering, very well presented, and and not lacking in portion sizes. Everything we tried was enjoyed by our group and we are definitely planing to visit again in the future.
