Well I was in the same evening As the 1* rating. I rated higher as it was a lovely evening and the food was yum. I would say perhaps if there is a large booking (as ours was 20 people) that the people running it should ask for people to prebook meals etc so they know what they need to prep etc.
Went on Tuesday night....fab food great service. Have been going here for years. Never ever had a bad meal. If your looking for a lovely meal....look no further

After doing the GNR yesterday we asked the taxi driver to take us to a nice indian restaurant he advised this one so glad he did . Lovely food and friendly staff food was hot and very quick would defiantly return

First class food, and a nice place to have a meal.
1st visit last night 24th Sept. We booked our table for 4 of us around 7.30pm. After getting seated, we were quickly handed a drinks menu. Whilst giving our drinks order I asked for recommendations. I am so glad I asked because hands down this was the best dish I have ever had. 😋. Only problem is that I cannot remember the name of the dish 🤣🤣. However, I highly recommend Monsun and cannot wait to visit the area again next year. If they are still around, I will definitely be paying them another visit. Thank you for having us 👍
Very very nice Indian restaurant. Extremely friendly staff and the food was spot on. Asked for my Jalfrezi to be Vindaloo hot and it was definitely very hot 👌🏻 food came came out nice and quick and the portion sizes were just right. My work mate totally agreed and we both said we will go back there when we're this way again.
The restaurant was a bit run down, waited 30 minutes to be served the main dish. The food was very tasty though!
One of the best in the North East. Really good quality food and at a very reasonable price. Can’t wait for the buffet to start soon

Really good scran like. Customer service was great. Only negative is I would say it’s looking a bit tired in the restaurant but that’s irrelevant.

The food is tremendous here as is the service. The staff here are attentive, warm and polite.
The cost of the food is very reasonable for the quality.
Take away is available too and is extremely popular.
Parking is free in the car park around the back in the evening.
