River Beat Quayside - Gateshead - Photo album

Private dining experience at the River Beat. Location is spectacular. Outdoor terrace with absolutely amazing views. Mojito gets a solid 7.5/10 let down by ice cubes instead of crushed ice. Food is Asian fusion really well presented with attention to detail. With the private dining experience they b
Lovely experience! The service was great , the place is cosy and has a lovely view. The food was great too, the pork belly was blissful and the desert was ok.
Absolutely brilliant. Great dining experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food all tasted amazing, the scallops and pork belly were particular favourites. We will definitely be back.
Last month I was invited to try the food River Beat and it did not disappoint. The venue is situated on Gateshead’s quayside within a stone’s throw from the Swing Bridge allowing amazing riverside views of Newcastle’s iconic bridges from their beautiful terrace. River Beat specialises in award winni
Incredible food, lovely atmosphere and a warm and friendly owner. First time here but I can't wait to go back.
The food here was easily 5 stars, so I've given it however pricing was expensive. I absolutely love Thai curry and this place does them to perfection so was really pleased. Cozy atmosphere, and the staff were great really friendly and polite. I'd come again but maybe only for a special occasion. Tha
Absolute hidden gem. Food is amazing and espresso martinis top notch. Gorgeous decor and friendly knowledgeable staff. Will recommend to anyone who will listen. New fave place.
Friendly staff, funky decor and great views over the river, ordered a pad thaï - could have had less sugar and more heat and tamarind, but tasty nonetheless and a generous serve too. Delicious red wine too.
Just an unexpectedly wonderful gem on the banks of the Tyne! Inventive gourmet food, very helpful service, delicious cocktails. In the warm season, terrace is a wonderful choice - opens up a romantic view of the river and bridges.
Found this gem and the tapas are tasty and just enough. They have vegan tapas options. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ambiance was also relaxed yet contemporary. I recommend this especially it's not along a busy street bit offers a fantastic view of the river.
Absolutely wonderful food. Fabulous staff. Great views. Can't recommend highly enough.
Food is interesting and a little different from the norm - really good flavours and the tapas menu allows you to try a few different options. I went with friends for a birthday celebration, it had a great atmosphere. The decor is quirky and stylish, and the lovely staff really added to the night.
A cool modern restaurant overlooking the Tyne serving Asian tapas and other Asian dishes. The staff are friendly, service is good and restaurant has a nice, lively atmosphere. Prices are a bit more on the expensive side but the food is absolutely worth it. All presented excellently and taste great.
What a place. Just a shame it wasn't full of people. The view was incredible. The food was very good indeed. Definitely worth a visit.
Amazing views and food. Best belly of pork I've ever had the pleasure of eating.
Wonderful views over the river to the Castle, friendly staff and good food. The tapas style works really well with the Thai food. Crispy duck was excellent, Vietnamese spring rolls are very hot.
We had the curry here. It was a bit spicy, but very good! Choose of music was excellent here. Nice place to eat, with a view over the river and the bridges.
Restaurant was very nice with a lovely location, the staff managed to squeeze us in before our show at the sage. We had a nice selection from main and side dishes. The food quality was lovely but very highly priced for what it was and we weren't 100% satisfied with the portions-vs-cost. Just to clar
