The Staiths Cafe - Gateshead - Photo album

Food and drinks here have always been lovely. Food is served quickly and with precision too. The staff are attentive and just wonderful. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Dog friendly and great view, what more can u ask for ❤️ The only tiny downside here is the parking, especially on the weekends. So try to avoid peak hours i
Beautiful views next to the water, clean environment, friendly down to earth staff, breakfast food is unreal and of great quality, haven’t had a chance to try their other food but looks just as good, also reasonably priced and one of my absolute favourite cafes, will deffo keep coming back!
The quiet riverside cafe!!!! Be careful it will close a bit early. But the atmosphere was so nice and calm:) it's also dog friendly and you can find a gift of Newcasle there as well.
Popped on here on a whim. Popular place and nice staff. I'd say only the parking is an issue. But next time we plan to park further along the Tyne and walk along.
Incredible little cafe, tucked away next to the Dunston Staithes. Lovely coffee, food and sweet treats galore (try the Cornflake Cake!)
Oh yes, very nice indeed. I recommend the Deli pastrami turbo pickle sandwich I had. The tallish chatty lass sold me on it, she's reet canny. Just a lovely little spot, right on the river.
Love this place - doggy friendly, plenty of space, easy to order and great food. I knocked one star off because my poached eggs in the middle were a bit snotty, but that’s my preference, also the toast that my Dad got with his full breakfast had barely been toasted but it was really tasty. Looking
So busy on a rainy Sunday afternoon, but the staff were so lovely. Super friendly. Food was really good and good price. Definitely come back.
Friendly staff, location is the best part of this cafe, lovely river view, dog friendly, free Wi-Fi. Fresh and delicious breakfast
I called in with a friend after her waxing lyrical for quite a while about it. I felt food was a little expensive. Service, especially for payments was a bit chaotic. Card machine was not working for some of the time and staff, although they were all polite, helpful were in each others way. Pleased
Such a cute cafe! It's so hidden and tucked away, such a cute location. Love all the decor inside. It's very busy during lunch so we were lucky to get a table. So many options for food and drink, they cater so much for veggies and vegans too so very impressive. HUGE selection of cakes and brownies a
Cute little cafe. I’d never been before but the staff were so friendly and polite. It was not long after it had opened but was already busy so that shows how nice it is. There’s not loads of seating but there is an upstairs. Parking wasn’t too bad either. Food was lovely and reasonably priced too an
Tiled floors and zinc staircase rails with safety cables and track lighting with high ceilings are a kind of post industrial loft like look. And unlike this review the place is not pretentious. Well staffed counter ordering and paying and orders bought to tables. Mix of arm chairs, sofas and straigh
Great food, bit of a queue a I arrived at a busy time but worth the wait. Order was quickly placed and the staff were very friendly. Nice clientèle which always helps
A lovely cafè with lots of healthy meals, a beautiful river view and very friendly staff. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because there weren't any sugar free baked goods.
My family and I had lunch here on a Saturday. We were all impressed with the location, view , cleanliness and service. We had a reasonable wait and all food arrived together. The hot food was unquestionably flavoursome and far better than the salads. The Greek salad seemed that in name only. Adding
Discovered this place while riding my bike. The place is very cozy, looks so trendy and clean. Staff super cool people. I had a matcha vanilla coffee which resulted in a good surprise. It’s very smooth and I guess no need to add extra sugar, it is quite sweet, additionally I had couple of toastiest.
Nice and wonderful cafe ☕️ Excellent hot chocolate
Lovely little cafe, well lit and spaced out. Lovely use of upstairs and terrace balcony for seating to look out over the Tyne. So much choice on the menu and plenty of traybakes! Amazing brunch menu and coffees! Will most definitely be back soon. Staff were polite and welcoming too!
