What a wonderful, friendly little cafe. Excellent cakes, tasty coffee. Massive bonus - they welcome and love dogs. Fabulous!
For a small cafe / shop there was a good selection of savoury snacks and sweet treats on offer. All the food was delicious. A slight downside was limited gluten free options but, as already mentioned, this is a small business so catering for every taste is not possible.
Sadly we’re only in Gatehouse of Fleet for one day or I’d be here all the time ! Felt it only right to have scones in the Scone Kitchen & they were amazing! Lovely shop, fantastic fresh food. Wonderful coffee and delightful ladies serving. Really unusual gifts too. Will definitely return and a gem to add to our list.
I have never been to gatehouse before and I was looking for a place to have a nice cup of coffee and a cake or cream scone. After trailing around this small town I could not find a place until I located the Scone Kitchen.

Pass the other coffee shops at the bottom. A must go to. Cleanist coffee house I've been to in years. Coffee out of this world and scones to die for. OPP the monument at the top
Delightful chilled café with unusual gifts. Takeaway possible. Great home bakes e.g. treacle scones. Only open 10-3, Weds-Sat.
