We had dinner once and the food was surprisingly good! We stayed for 2 nights, we really liked our room and we loooved the breakfast! We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this place but keep in mind that there is not much to do around.
Went for dinner and drinks with friends, having visited the Black Bull a couple of times before. Very accommodating staff, friendly service, and great food. Good selection of drink too.
Highly recommend the steak!

We had a lovely dinner over the Black Bull Inn in Gartmore. The food was great and the service was good too.
Stayed here one night on our way up to the highlands , food was amazing fish was to die for , power shower and super king size bed where heaven , would stay again no problem

Came in for tea to shelter from the rain. Very warm welcome, very accommodating as there was 8 of us. Food was great too.
Probably the nicest fish & chips I’ve ever had in a pub! So pleased I called by, the ale was great and the staff so warm & friendly.
