Can highly recommend the pies. My wife and I had the chicken and leek pie with gravy today and it was amazing.
These are not shop bought they are made on the premises and it shows as they are crammed with delicious filling. The beef and staff are great too.

While walking the Severn Way, along the Montgomery canal, we stopped for a dink at the Nags Head.
We had a dog with us, but the staff were very welcoming, found us some comfy seats and made sure we had what we needed.
A really great place to stop off while walking - I'm a bit sad as we'd already eaten so weren't able to partake of the delicious smelling food that was being served around us. Maybe next time...

14 of us, everyone enjoyed their meals, the pie was especially good. Only docked one star as 2 meals were wrong and had to wait for corrections but these things happen. Lots of GF options. Staff super nice.highly recommend

Popped in for Lunch whilst walking the canal. No booking, service with a smile. Awsome coffee, Great food, comfortable ,clean welcoming. 36.00 all in 2 x mains, 2 x coffee

My husband and I have eaten here for at least 10 years however stopped two years ago, food was disgusting so was the service and cleaning.
BUT what has happened the food and service is now so good. So worth a visit. Staff are dedicated. 100% happy to return with my family and friends. Keep up the good work.

We had dinner on a Tuesday evening.
Good variety in menu. Portion size good despite going for smaller options.
Sea bass and Prawn linguine were excellent.

We booked our table for 10 whilst on holiday. Although busy for lunch, we got a table for the evening instead. As soon as we arrived we were seated and drinks order taken. Our nephew needs gluten-free, all clearly explained on the menu. When our food arrived it was served by 3 people, all fantastic. Portions were very generous and everybody enjoyed their meals. The roasts were delicious! Thank you for your excellent service, fantastic food and great atmosphere.

We came to try the restaurant this evening having the local beef burger it was genuinely the best burger I have ever eaten. The portions were good and the price was good especially considering the quality. The beer battered cod had a good crisp batter with perfectly cooked fish.

Had Sunday lunch here at 2.30 after being on a helicopter flight for my birthday. The meal was amazing and the staff were so lovely and helpful and they were so busy.
My partner says he has never had a Sunday lunch out as fantastic as that and we will be back very soon for sure

Knock out Sunday lunch! Hands down the best meal we've had in Wales this holiday. Awesome value for money, excellent selection, very attentive and experienced staff who know how to serve and interact, each course was fresh, tasty and plentiful. We now understand why booking was essential and no availability until 2.45! Well done to you all, kitchen and front of house. You have a fantastic place and you deserve every success!
