Had a very lovely time here, all tables spaced out in an open and airy restaurant /pub. Food was excellent but would have liked more of a variety as we found the menu slightly limited. Value for money however and the staff were great and helpful.
We stopped today for a lunchtime drink and decided to have a light meal too. The service was lovely, very welcoming and the food was excellent. Most of all my two small dogs were just as welcome even though they couldn't go inside, it wasn't a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to call again.
Wasn't staying in hotel. Went next door for a meal in Tavern. Even though my steak was overcooked (asked for medium, but it was very well done) - we enjoyed the food. Good variety of cocktails and even happy hour between 3pm and 6pm.
I really like this place. The food is really good...good wholesome traditional meals, served quickly and well presented. The atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant. The decor is just right. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The prices are within the right range. It's my venue of choice for a g
Stayed 2nd and 3rd July.. rooms beautiful, spacious, clean and bed so comfortable. Only had one meal there .. chicken curry . Lovely lunch for 4, 2 adults, 2 children. My son spilt his full drink as he's rather clumsy, the waiter saw what happened and replaced the drink free of charge, lovely gesture. Sunday lunch was lovely also recommend the cheese and onion pie 👌
Visted recently and my new fave in the area. Fabulous tasty food, quick service from the manager james who was super friendly and welcoming. Great prices and comfortable seating, LOVING the new outdoor seating area with heat lamps.. Blanket offered too for a small fee! Will 100% be visiting again Xx
Great meal and great service so very happy to be fair, haven't been here for years so it was a nice surprise.good choice of beers and there is a cocktail menu ,plenty of gins and whiskey if that's your thing. Only down side is it looks a bit dark and dismal when you walk In,could do with brightening
The food was really tasty! I had the lamb rump and at first I was worried it was going to be too tough, but it turned out just to be a blunt knife! Good selection of beers too!
The Crofters is a clean, friendly place to stay. I Love coming here, its my favorite place to stay. The breakfast is amazing with cereal, toast and full English being served with tea, coffee and various juices also available. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and being located on the main A9 be
Very good as usual. We had a light meal. Me, smoked haddock fishcake with new potato, cucumber and tartar sauce and hubby, black pudding with spinach and and poached egg. Excellent.
Great place for the price, was stopping for a work trip and had a brilliant time. WiFi could be better, but clean spacious rooms (just don't look at the ceiling) hearty breakfast. Slept like a baby on the firm mattress. If in the area would 💯 stop again!
Have driven past the Crofters without entering. My mistake, had a meal today it was excellent. Well cooked presented and home made. As a chef could not fault it.
Last minute booking for the night. Couldn't fault it. Beautiful food and cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only one towel for two of us but was very quickly rectified. Was woken by loud traffic but not the hotels fault as it is on a main road. We would definitely st
My wife and I enjoyed our overnight stay on our journey back from Scotland. The accomodation was good, clean and comfortable and the staff were very pleasant. The steak and ale pie and particularly the gravy was excellent as was the breakfast. Thank you to the staff at Crofters Hotel for a very nic
