Food here was great! We've seen the menu a couple of times while calling in for a pint and it looked tasty, can confirm it is as good as it looked! Proper home made chips and excellent sandwiches at a great price. We'll be back 😁
Food was good, service was cheery, can't complain about the prices. My only gripe is that the toilets could do with a good scrub!
Last minute call in on the drive down south via M1. Bar staff very accommodating and Sunday lunch was lovely!

Great Sunday roast. Meat perfectly cooked. Lovely fresh veg - amazing gravy - roast and mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pud, stuffing and cauliflower cheese all delicious. Friendly service and really good value for money 😁

Been living in Garforth for 21 years and always liked this pub even between good owners and bad . the current landlady is lovely and she looked after me a Saturday 12.3.22 with a problem.

Lovely lunch with a friend today. Food very good, pity can't say the same about the weather!
I invited my elderly parents for Sunday dinner yesterday the 20th of November and it was absolutely delicious, it was served quickly and professionally my cheerful happy staff. Our plates went back to the kitchen clean, compliments to the chef and friendly staff. It is pet friendly and in the summ
The miners bar is very well organised and welcoming the open mic night is excellent and the staff are Sunday lunch is really nice and good value for money as are the drinks.

Despite this being a little off our beaten track, we were given a nice warm welcome.
We had just eaten elsewhere so just tried a G&T each. Options of both G and T were plentiful. Traditional old me just went for a Bombay with straightforward Fever Tree tonic. It was marvellous.
The place is clean
Called in here for food as a treat from our grandson, all three of us had food, it was absolutely great, and value for money. Very pleasant new owner's. Would recommend to everyone, we will definitely be going back in again. Thank you 😊

We held my dad's wake here. The manager was really nice and helped us put together a buffet that had both hot and cold food. The food was lovely and all set out for us when we arrived. The staff were lovely on the day and packed up for us what wasn't used. Thanks.
