Went for my birthday last night and it’s the best meal we’ve ever had in a Miller & Carter and we have dined in many over the years.
3 courses: starters - nachos and sticky chipotle chicken, mains - 2 x fillet steaks, sides - mac n cheese, desserts - lemon posset and banofee pie, drinks - aperol spritz and estrella.
Everything was an absolute taste sensation, service was impeccable, price was very reasonable (had a £10 off code plus a £25 gift voucher to use) and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Ventured over to the bar area afterwards to continue drinking with a friend that had popped by on their way home, 2hrs later and we were just getting home.
Great dining experience with a special thanks to Ben C for his drink recommendations, helping me choose my dessert (I wanted them all) and for his general polite and happy manner; such a genuine lovely funny guy.
great place to eat all staff friendly and efficient in there service to you steaks came quickly just as people ordered them .i had full rack of ribs only downside on them not enough sauce on them so a bit dry .desert was very nice so was the 2 cocktails i had price was really good we will be going again .
Came for the valentines menu on Tuesday. The food and service was amazing! Ben our server was really lovely. We will definitely be returning in the future.
We went as a start to our holidays, hubby had scallops to start and fillet rare, I had ribeye, both were melt in your mouth, service excellent will definitely be going again.
My first visit to Garforth ! The food was really lovely all served piping hot, well cooked steaks ! All plates cleared, always a good sign ! All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful, especially Charlotte who looked after us all evening, so friendly, thank you Charlotte ! Plenty parking to ! Only negative thought chips a bit scrappy .. sorry ! But all in all a lovely evening !
Amazing food and awesome cocktails. We had steak and lobster both were really good.

Only thing we didn’t like was that the tables for two were very close together. Did feel a little like we were intruding on the couple sat next to us!
Our waiter, Ben was a lovely young man. A real credit to the place.
Thoroughly enjoyable meal for all four of us and not all eating the same. Only place I’ll order a steak. Unfortunately what did spoil our enjoyment was that we were cold and the food soon went cold. Could be my fault for asking for a quiet area?

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Miller and Carter Garforth. Excellent menu choice and food was delicious. Really good value lunch menu is offered in addition to the main menu. Extra shout out to our server today, Piers, who was really friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

So we decided to come for a late lunch/early tea and have the set menu. Food was absolutely lovely and service was quick. Our server Katie is an absolute asset to miller and carter. She is our server most times we visit and she was brilliant once again.
1st ever visit. Lunchtime - staff were welcoming, polite & provided excellent service. Decor was cosy and classy. I had a main menu, bacon & cheese burger & crumble dessert, both were beautiful. Prices are reasonable especially considering the quality.
Great food and service from Katie and Megan. Checked how we were doing and food came in good time. The food was excellent as always and left extremely full! Will definitely be coming again as always.

The food was very nice, I am not a steak person so I had a burger, very well cooked and was one of the best burgers I've had for a while, staff were nice and the atmosphere was ambient, nice internal aesthetic of the building, would recommend for most events or dates, slightly expensive but is reflected in the quality of food.
Service was great and the food was very nice. Quite expensive compared to the local restaurants but well worth a visit.
Our visit to Miller and Carter was lovely. We had a starter, main and dessert. Everything was cooked really nicely and the steaks are exceptional. We had a sharing platter of desserts, which was beautiful and plenty for each of us. We thought this was a really good idea. The choice on the menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. Our waitress, Teri, was very helpful and attentive without being overly fussy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit today. Unfortunately there was a burst water pipe which had caused the cellar to flood, therefore, drinks were very limited. But it didn’t spoil our afternoon at all.

First time visiting a Miller and Carter, not disappointed. The Chefs recommended 8oz ribeye was a great choice. Good service with friendly staff.

Booked as a family treat, service (Sarah) was excellent. Food was great, would have been 5* but the lamb was tough & very gristly. Fair play to Miller & Carter they took the lamb off the bill without a quibble. Steaks were great as were the fish & vegetarian dishes. Really enjoyable evening & would definitely recommend the butcher’s Block
First time visitors to the area / restaurant, staying across the road at the IHG Hotel, Easy to book a table on line, very busy time (19.30) service was at a steady pace, not rushed, everything was cooked to perfection, our waitress Christine was knowledgeable, helpful and considerate made time to discuss the menu options etc.
Excellent experience, and top service from Christine, she runs the show and has great banter!
Ate here for a joint birthday outing and had a great time with great food. The two birthday guests even got a surprise treat! 😊
Fantastic food. I had made a specific seating request which could have been seen as unusual, but it was accommodated perfectly. Service was excellent. Very attentive and efficient
Our overall experience of our visit was wonderful, however we did have to wait for someone to come great us at at door and seat us a little longer then expected, and was ignored by the gentleman on the bar, would have been nice to have been spoken to and informed someone would be with us in a moment instead of looking at us and ignoring us.
Once seated our server was fantastic very friendly and attentive, most definitely a credit to Miller & Carter.
The food came out very well presented and hot.
