It is always one of our go-to places when we are near Gardenstown. Lovely setting in the patio garden with great service and the food freshly prepared.
Back again 28th September for the afternoon tea. You certainly get a lot, and that's before the scones arrive. As brilliant as ever.
Can't put a new review, so I'm adding to previous review. Just want to say it's still amazing food and service here! Amazing scones
Eli and Fiona even remember what I ate on my last visit 😊!
Will be back again and I have a loyalty card to stamp 😀
PS photos are
from previous visit. I can't upload new photos yet.

Amazing food and wonderful hospitality from owner and staff there. Most pleasant time there and I'll be back again next week! The scones are amazing!
Excellent service and beautiful cakes freshly made. Took a takeaway quiche and bacon/cheese turnover and they were tasty and fresh.
A little gem.
Lovely wee place , friendly, clean with yummy food 😋 definitely going back , you can't go wrong.
Wow, what a lovely little find. Stopped here for a pasty, coffee and cake whilst in Gardenstown and it didn't disappoint. Pasty was delicious and the cakes were amazing. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend visiting if in the area. This place has a lot of character. There is also a little shop with lots of unusual items for sale!
A fantastic cafe! Great service, absolutely lovely lady serving and a grand lad waiting on
The coffee was great and the carrot cake amazing
Some wonderful candles, scarves, bags and other craft items
It’s a must, great outdoor space at the back too
Don’t try and get to it via the kitchen like I nearly did 😱
The toilet is very clean and has every sanitary product you could need
You can keep your costas, go local
Wow, what can I say that others haven't already said. Had the "mini" afternoon tea which we couldn't finish. Huge portions of excellent quality food and lovely friendly ladies serving the food. We had the option of sitting inside, sitting outside at the front or in the rear garden area which we chose. Some lovely plants and gifts on sale too
What an amazing cafe, we have been on holiday in Gardenstown for 2 weeks and called here numerous times throughout this time. The cappucino, the cakes, the soup, the sandwiches, paninii's, quiche, scones.... i think we have basically tried the whole menu. Gorgeous little craft gifts to buy as well. Dog friendly gets an extra vote especially when the owner Eli, goes over to the dogs and says hello with treats..Lovely outside seating round the back via the side gate which is lovely. Also seating outside at the front which catches the sun in the afternoons.
Will definately call again next time we are in the area.
We are staying in Gardenstown and were looking for something near by for a nice lunch, we could not have found a better place! We opted for 2 mini afternoon teas and one of the ploughman’s lunches, all I can say is wow! We really put a lot of food away and still had to take takeaway boxes home. The quality was fantastic, location beautiful and the service was second to none! We didn’t catch his name but the guy in the cowboy hat really helped make our visit, he just couldn’t do enough for us and was checking that we weren’t in the rain as we sat outside. Also all the other ladies serving were also so friendly and welcoming! Amazing little place! Thanks again.
Pleasant staff. Good food and good value. Lovely chocolate cake and cappuccino. Very popular so really busy. Luckily got a table.
