Food service and company great. But we were all freezing, too cold for comfort, not helped by comming and going of folk through back door
The steak pie was excellent the pastry was lovely and crisp. The meat was tender fell to bits when the fork touched it. Delicious food and good helpings Not too expensive nice atmosphere

We really love this place. Cosy, friendly atmosphere. Good value. Simple but well made made menu. Delicious. My favourite pub in Scotland.
Nice place to eat lunch with a lovely chilled atmosphere. Menu small but varied. Staff nice, professional & friendly. Surroundings clean & pleasant. Not too expensive & just a great place to eat.
Delicious lunch. Friendly chatty staff. Clear protective measures in place for the safety of customers and staff.
Well this wee place is like a high quality restaurant! First class service and the food is restaurant quality home cooked dishes, extremely amazing presentation and service, I have been in places all over the 🌎 and this is Top Class food and service. Highly recommended 100%.
Never been in this bar before. We were hungry and needed lunch after a brief visit to the town. Inside the bar was excellent. Plenty of Tradional character and well laid out for meals. The menu was good with a wide range of choices and the staff were excellent all the time helping us and other custo

Open fire in the bar adding a nice cozy feel. Its Just what you are looking for after a frosty start to the morning. Tast
Traditional old worldly pub and restaurant. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere with traditional coal fire. Beautiful mushroom gratin starter followed by superb rich steak pie !!
Having been to The wee train many times I would class it as the best pub in Ayrshire as all the best pubs in the UK are made by the landlord and the landlord/lady only, not the duke box, in-house band ,barstaff or food. The wee Train serves excellent food and beer, is a great eatery but still retain
