Honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. We’ve had take aways from Safa since we moved into the area but we went into the restaurant last night and were blown away. Spotless clean. Very attentive staff. Great menu. Absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be eating in the restaurant more often. Thank you Raj & staff. We had a really lovely evening.
I went there for the first time yesterday after hearing amazing things, I only went to get a take away and still felt like I got treated like a valued customer. The service that I had was flawless, and the food was delicious. Definitely will be going back 100%

'First Curry Experience'....Then this is the place to go! This was our first visit at Safa and first curry experience for some local friends. We were very impressed with the decor and ambiance of the place, staff were really pleasant and made you feel at home. The food was great! It tasted really fresh and mouth watering, our friends enjoyed every last bit and said they defo will come again. We had a great meal and worth the value for money as staff are really friendly and the food is best in the area!!

Attentive staff when eating in or collecting.
Food was generally really good and tasty, not too greasy or salty, good portions.
The restaurant got part of our order wrong last time we collected, but that's only happened once.
The online ordering system was a pain last time we tried to use it - couldn't accept payment and lost the order we'd submitted - so won't be using it again. No apology from the restaurant.
Just had probably the best Indian we have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly with very friendly helpful staff and it was also very well priced. Can't recommend enough.
We ordered take away for delivery via their website. The website was good, the delivery was on time and the food was excellent. The best indian in Chelmsford hands-down. They also have 5 stars for food Hygiene, which is excellent.
