This is the best cafe in Galashiels. It's all home made and the portion sizes leave me in some state and I've never even been to America. The original recipe pies and pastries have a proper weight to them. The home made soup is better than anywhere else. There are always unique specials on offer for especially cheap prices. Go to this cafe if your eating out in Gala at all, because trust me it will really, REALLY FLICK YOUR BEAN. Every time I leave this cafe it's always buttered ma biscuit.
The best millionaires slice ever ! All the food is home made and wonderful - good for carnivores - different soups each day - very reasonable prices , wonderful coffee - perfect to take away on the way up towards Edinburgh - small seating area inside -
All hot food we ordered is always cooked fresh and have never had any thing bad all my orders I have had has been amazing. staff/owner is so freindly and nice laid back environment. If you haven't been you need to try.
