We are the most fussiest customer u will probably get , we have tried every Indian in the borders , and this is by far the best we have had , lovely staff , great service , fantastic fresh food , none of this tasteless red stuff like other places , really tasty meal , would recommend this place to everyone , hard to find a good Indian but this place is jackpot , thanks again , will be back very soon

I've tried most Indian restaurants in the Borders and this is the best I've tried. Friendly, cheerful staff and amazing food.
We just had a delicious meal there this evening- all six of us had a different dish and they were all excellent - everything fresh - lovely starters - great vegetarian and meat dishes - Meal and service were tremendous and great prices. Definitely recommend.
They were busy and short staffed when we went but the service was still very good. The food was excellent as always. We also have takeaway from here quite often. Highly recommended.

Have been here twice. The staff are friendly, helpful and most accommodating. The food experience was out of this world. The portions were elephant sufficiency and well presented. Great variety and every taste bud carefully catered to. Great family centred cuisine. Tasted like real authentic home cooked indian food.

Late lunch, 4 pm. Since moving to the Borders last year, we've been searching for a good Indian restaurant. Usually, we end up going up to Dishoom in Edinburgh just for a good curry. Then today, we discovered Zaika Tandoori and finally we've found a local Indian restaurant we love. Food & service were fabulous. Thoroughly recommend

Really great food, all fresh and made exactly how we asked for it. Couldn’t spit butter chicken on the menu but they made it up for me anyway. Have to say despite being really busy they managed to fit us in. Service was simply great and they kept us updated on when the food would be ready. Top!
We went for the three course meal and it was superb, each dish was authentic. I took the plunge and went for a lamb jaipur, I wasn't disappointed I'm going back this week for more delicious tastes thank you just lovely.
Awesome food wverytime and a fab atmosphere
Had such a lovely experience here. The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. I have to avoid dairy due to breastfeeding an allergy baby and they were amazing about altering my meal to suit my needs. The food was absolutely delicious too. So many little touches like real flowers on the tables and the woman serving us brought warm cloths for after our meal. Was a perfect evening out, thank you!

Lovely dishes, It's not always that you can actually see the individual ingredients and experience each flavour as they come together in your mouth. Good portion sizes and prompt service. Highly recommend.

Been to Zaika Galashiels a few times now. The staff are first class and provide a very very good service. ziaka is by far the best all round Indian restaurant we have ate in. The mixed grill is Delilah… Never left disappointed and all very worthy of 5 stars + review.
My first time eating here and it was great, lovely food, beautifully blended ingredients. Very tasty. Good portion sizes too. Staff were very helpful and friendly, answered every menu question my group had.

Good authentic Indian food. Excellent service. Excellent choice and good prices. NOT licensed so you have to take your own alcohol but they have a range of soft drinks. Really enjoyed my visit
