Excellent Sunday carvery food was lovely and service was very good. No complaints from any of us infact probably best one we've had.
Lovely pub with great staff, all the food is homemade and delicious with amazing prices. Beautiful beer garden with a play area for the kids and dog friendly. Would highly recommend a visit :)
Fabulous Sunday carvery experience with very attentive and friendly owners and staff. Such a lovely atmosphere. Really tasty Sunday lunch with lovely meat selection and lots of vegetables choice. We go regularly. Highly recommended by the Laming family 😁.

Saturday night they had a great band called Soundbeat. Absolutely fantastic night hope they play there again.

Called in after a hike for some late lunch. Lovely friendly landlord . We ordered Fish and Chips which was cooked to perfection. Everything homemade absolutely delicious. Thank you .
Good honest carvery. Fed up, excuse the pun of Toby and the like, try local pubs.
First visit to this establishment and it won't be the last. Had a carvery which was delicious, only criticism I have is there were no stuffing. Lovely garden area with a children's play ground. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Definitely recommend.

Having lived in this area for 7 years, can't believe we've never found this place. Popped in for late lunch today. Food great, staff great, clean and tidy. What a great place, we will certainly be going back.

A great place to eat and the Carvery is particularly good and well attended. Its very popular with the villagers and it gets really busy so its a good odea to book a table. Both Jenny and Lawrence, the owners, are welcoming and friendly plus if its just a beer you want then theres a great beer garde
Even though short notice Happy to accommodate large family group on a Sunday. Staff very busy but good service and lovely carvery. Family all stated would love to go again next time come to visit. Will also be going again with Friends.
Very accommodating and friendly staff very good food for the money plenty of vegetables for a change sadly missing from main stream eateries and the portions for me we're immense to much for me! However I am sure others will cope!

Great welcome. Excellent beer and good food. We walked from our excellent B & B at Brampton Dales Farm for our evening meal. We were made so welcome we felt like locals, who also made us feel very welcome when they turned up for their Thursday night quiz.
We had a fantastic Sunday roast for 13 people today and the food was amazing. Also want to say the staff were fantastic and friendly. Thanks for fitting us in today really appreciated it.
