Not visited for a long while. Decided to see how things were as there have been a number of licencees since it originally opened, when we were regular visitors. Booked a table on the app for 5.30pm, but there was no need as it was quiet when we arrived. Bar staff told us which table we were at, and
Often went to spoons in Gainsborough. Found this hidden gem up the road from my house. Brilliant atmosphere makes me feel safe and secure. Great food and great staff who go out of their way. Will never go anywhere else now. Love this place!
Arranged secret birthday meal for wife, met with friends and family. Food was great, staff patient went above n beyond. Really friendly and pleased to do what they could. All enjoyed very reasonably priced meals and drinks. Thanks again
A very nice place for a family meal. Although it’s a chain pub the standard of food and service was great. The layout is really good with families being seated in a separate area to give people without children a peaceful experience.

I attended the weekly quiz night (which I do most weeks), I found the service exceptional (both at the bar and via the qr code table service), the establishment is always clean and tidy, the toilet facilities are always clean and tidy. I found the staff to be cheerful and welcoming.
I had a rare cooked rump steak, sweet potato fries with just mushroom and a side of cauliflower wings. Due to taking the peas and tomato off the lovely young lady behind the bar asked if there were any allergies or intolerance (informed her tomatoes), when food arrived there was a good allergy flag

My 5 year old niece went to the bar with her uncle to order drinks and mentioned to him that she wanted a hot chocolate - he said maybe after she had eaten her tea and left the bar with a Diet Coke instead.
The meal was for my Mom's funeral and this was the first time that my relatives had come up to Lincolnshire. We all enjoyed the meal very much and service was very smooth. This was a special occasion to toast my Mom and I would like to thank the staff for providing such a great service.
