I've been in a couple of times for food now and was never disappointed with either meals, would highly recommend coming here for lunch to anyone, the food is just beautiful.

My husband and I have just enjoyed a fantastic evening meal here tonight! There was a warm welcome on arrival, a delicious home cooked meal followed by a really tasty, but naughty dessert and a calm, relaxing atmosphere! A real pleasure to visit, as usual. Thankyou x

Lunch alfresco in their beautiful pub garden today.Enjoyed a perfect prawn cocktail (fresh malted grain bread with plenty of butter,correct proportion of prawns in nice dressing to mixed salad leaves)and delicious rhubarb and stem ginger crumble and cream.Washed down by a cool San Miguel.Thank you Hugo and team xx

I had a need to feed,
16+ people at short notice, and at reasonable prices to accommodate all budgets.
Hugo, Fred and the team solved my problem with ease and made us all feel very welcome. The food was all hot, delicious and very well presented. The staff were very patient and tolerant with children..
Nothing.. Was to much trouble.
We all enjoyed our meals and wished we had the time to go check out that Jazz Band which was playing in the function room.. (Perhaps Next time �)

Very friendly and helpful staff. We went on a Monday evening, the restaurant was quiet but there were plenty of locals in the bar. We were well looked after. The food was very good in our party we had Chicken Schnitzel with chips and salad, sausage and creamy mash and chicken and hock pie with creamy mash potatoes. For desert we had Biscoff Sundae. Plus Beers and ciders. We all enjoyed our meals very.much. Would certainly recommend it.
Nice pub! We enjoyed our lunch here, best to drop in if it’s not a busy day/evening. The hostess was very friendly and so were the waitresses, some room for improvement I think with waiting times when you arrive but honestly a lovely lunch, and we will be back! Worth a visit if you fancy a classic Sunday roast.
Had a beautiful roast dinner today with my family. Cooked to perfection! Staff were very friendly too (Ellie was our waitress) also the place was inviting. Worth the visit!
Very good local independent pub. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Very broad menu, I had the BBQ ribs and they were excellent. TV room shows sport, separate dining area of you're interested in any of that. Big function room. Fantastic beer garden. Dog friendly. Approachable and attentive staff. Ticks all the boxes. Great pub.
Second time eating here and it keeps exceeding expectations! The venison pie was delicious! Mark was very friendly and helpful. Compliments to the kitchen team!!
Great Sunday lunch out! Yorkshires are massive and obviously handmade and generous portions in general. Sarah was great and was very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent roast chicken dinner today. It was all delicious but especially the gravy and red cabbage. Wish l lived in the area and could visit regularly.
My friend and I received a very warm friendly welcome,Lindsey (loved the hair) made our experience so enjoyable,my first time there, we ordered Sunday lunch and it was served and cooked beautifully tasted excellient. Atmosphere was cosy ,relaxed and you felt valued. Thank you to all the workers who made the experience so good.Will definitely go again.A little gem.

10/10 couldn't ask for more for a nice pub + restaurant in Cambridge. Excellent and speedy service, great atmosphere and every single one of our dishes were presented brilliantly and were delicious.
Great service and lovely atmosphere! The food was good quality. Unfortunately, mine wasn't what was listed on the menu. I ordered a slow cooked lamb Wellington. That was somehow medium? Fatty/Chewy? And not in Wellington form. More of a pasty. However, the rest of the meal was so tasty and everyone else's meal was great! No complaints here. I would just double check in future that the lamb is slow cooked before ordering.
Our second visit to the 6 bells and we will be back. After a friendly welcome we were offered the choice of eating in the pub or restaurant, we chose restaurant so that we could chat.
The food is well cooked and tasty, with a good choice of gluten free options. A good selection of beer on tap, which the husband enjoyed!
Well worth a visit.
We will be back to eat again soon.
