The roast dinner we both had was delicious, all cooked perfectly. Pudding was so good too. The waitress who served us was a lovely sweet girl and her timing was perfect. We recommend this place with 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Really nice place with great staff. No local beers though - apart from Butcombe who own the place I think - which is such a pity as some very good local micro breweries nearby .... closer the Butcombe for sure. Lunchtime food was good but at the upper range of affordability for us 2 pensioners. Do
Lovely refurbishment. Excellent service, very attentive. The roasts were nice but the yorkshire pudding was a little overdone. Somerset apple cake was delicious.
Lovely large old pub on the river with a big car park. Interior looks great and the staff are very welcoming. We didn't eat but the drinks selection was good and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. I'll amend to 5 stars when we go back and eat as the menu looked good!
Attentive staff and great good. I also appreciated the extra birthday treat :) Would recommend the fish and chips. All the starters were also excellent as we shared a few. The chocolate fondant was cooked to perfection 🥰. Thank you all.
Had an absolutely BANGING burger. Smoked cheese rarebit and bacon jam. Flavour heaven. Excellent service. Would recommend.
Lovely setting but a bit limited on menu when we visited
Sunday Lunch after a good frosty hike. Been here a few times and they've NEVER YET failed to fit us in. The roast lamb was decent with multiple veg (your 5-a-day all in one and the red cabbage is really quite special) and a good portion. The truly amazing thing, though, was the speed with which it a
The Mill is a great location for a meal and drinks. There is plenty of car parking spaces and the veranda is well supplied with tables, chairs and Large umbrellas. Inside is very cosy too. Food was a high quality and supported by a friendly efficient service. Will definitely recommend.
Lovely country pub with gourmet dining. My wife and I had a Sunday roast there recently that was very nice. Service started off good, but was very slow after we had eaten.
It was pretty busy when we got here on a Sunday but they still found us a table and we had an excellent Sunday roast. If we were to come back in summer, I think we'd absolutely love the garden!
Great place. Very dog friendly. Staff were lovely. We stayed overnight in car park. Could do with more than one vegan option on menu but the one dish was srumptious
Great to be back on this occasion! The Mill was very clean and tidy. The food, although it was only fish and chips ( gluten free) I may add but they were well presented and tasted lovely! The cider was Ashton press and it went down rather well! We will definitely be back!
What a lovely location! The staff was wonderful and welcoming, they were especially kind with the children in our party. The food was very tasty, a great little find!
Great country pub with good food, friendly staff and a stunning location. This place is perfect for a sunny afternoon or clear evening and has loads of indoor space and a heated patio when it's cooler outside. Good quality pub food and a broad range of ales and drinks. The location is stunning so hi
