We walked into a very busy restaurant just before 7pm on Saturday, the staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant transports you back to Paris in the early naughties and has a truly authentic, French feel. Service was excellent, the team were extremely friendly, efficient, on the ball and professional. My son made a couple of adjustments to his meals which were executed without fuss or delay. Special praise to Becky as she did a great job of looking after us all. The food was simply superb, all beautifully cooked and in my opinion excellent value , considering the quality of produce and portion size. We only live 10 minutes away but, we spent the whole journey home discussing how much we enjoyed ourselves and how we must return soon! Well done to the Bistrio Lottie team, your hard work, attention to good customer service and can do attitude has not gone unnoticed. If you are reading this review considering a visit, just pick up the phone and book a table,. You may however wish to book in advance, as it is probably the most popular restaurant in Frome and I for one can see why! PS Espresso martinis are superb.👍

Outstanding food and service. Had the prosciutto chicken and a fantastic carafe of pinot noir. All was very tasty and we had a lovely evening here. Left my umbrella and it was still there to collect in the morning. Great place highly recommended.

Fantastic! A quaint bistro that's worth the walk just out of the centre. Lovely atmosphere with an extremely quaffable house wine. The buckwheat pancakes are delicious and cater for the many of us with a gluten or wheat intolerance. Fabulous specials board and service with a smile. What more could you ask for?

Came in to treat myself for lunch and walked away really happy! Really lovely staff, calm atmosphere and AMAZING food. Their galettes are crispy and flavourful and the sorbet was second to none. Would definitely recommend! 🩵

I only stayed for one night and I did also eat there. The room was nice and fairly well set up with a nice selection of tea and coffee, they are environmentally conscious which is always nice to see. The only down side to my room, was because it was close to a main road and had the resteraunt downstairs, it was fairly noisy. Then for dinner I had Bread and butter to start, which was nice although it may have been nicer warm. For main I had the Steak Frites which was perfectly cooked to my liking of medium rare which is hard to get at a restaurant! The staff are very nice and always happy to help however they can 😊

Lovely for two nights stay over second May bank holiday weekend. Would highly recommend. Pros: food and drink were great, both for dinner and for breakfast. Rooms were well sized, comfy bed, powerful shower. Staff very helpful and attentive. Cons: parking is limited, we secured a spot but isn't guaranteed (other car parks available), pub opposite so bear in mind depending on when you're looking to visit as can be quite noisy. Slightly out of the centre of Frome and up a hill, not a problem for us but could be for those who find the hills hard (but Frome is hilly!)

Fantastic little find for our wedding anniversary meal and stay over. Food was spot on from a French menu, rooms were tastefully decorated with attention to detail and spotlessly clean while the general ambiance was welcoming and comfortable. Would definitely return.

My daughter had her wedding reception here 2 weeks ago. The food was excellent, the atmosphere great and the service first class. A real taste of France in food, ambience, decor and informal excellence. We stayed the night in a lovely room and enjoyed an wonderful breakfast. I would recommend Lottes to anyone for anything from a coffee to a banquet!!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Lotte's. It was absolutely fantastic, Lotte made us feel so welcome and special. We had the function room upstairs and all of our guests were totally looked after. The food was delicious and the tables looked stunning. We, a long with some of our guests stayed the night in the rooms upstairs. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean and beautifully decorated. I whole heartedly cannot recommend Bistro Lotte enough.
