Can’t recommend trying out the new menu at The Traveller’s Rest enough! The Vegetabke Penang curry was delicious. But there was so many other dishes we want to try! Absolutely fabulous food. Service was amazing too. Manager couldn't do enough to help us. Stayed at local glamping site with a short walk to the pub.. I would definitely drive from my home in Liverpool just for one of there gorgeous meals. We went on a Saturday evening and then we loved it that much
A friend and I went for steak night last night. Excellent value and delicious food. All staff were lovely and helpful. Highly recommended. Advise booking as it does get busy.
So we popped in for Sunday lunch. Brilliant view good price. Staff were brilliant with our daughter next level. The black pudding starter is amazing. Good food good staff nice location.
Went yesterday (Sunday) to try the roasts and I have to say it didn't disappoint.
The staff are all really friendly, food was fab and the cauliflower cheese was stunning. Will definitely be back!
Me and my partner visited this restaurant in November and couldn't wait to return again today, the food is delicious and amazingly priced. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and can't do enough to help you.. we will definitely be back soon enough for another lovely evening.. thankyou to Polly, Rob
We went to Travellers Rest for Sunday lunch. The food is to die for, the staff are amazing, it is spotlessly clean. I recommend 100%. We will be going back
We were camping in the nearby campsite and needed somewhere to watch the eurovision. This is the loveliest pub, table right under the tv. Great pub. We visited while staying down the road in the caravan. I'd definitely recommend heading there for a drink or a bite to eat.
Lovely roast with mum on Sunday, booked last minute,friendly welcome, quite busy, first Sunday serving since opening, couple of minor errors but dealt with quickly. Young waitress lovely, roast lovely generous portions and unexpected extras, mum took half home ❤
First time here, but it's definitely not the last. Lovely food, service, and staff. Highly recommend.
