Wonderful. I had been trying to book here for a while-well worth the wait!

The food was amazing 👏 the service was fantastic 👏 the price was excellent 👌 the wine was so good 👍 ambience was great 👍 thank you for another great meal. 👍have been so many times as a holiday owner at honey cottage on Grove Road and always mean to leave a review. The steak was awesome 👌

An amazing place to eat l. Great staff both helpful and knowledgeable with great sense of humour😂 six of us two with wheelchairs and gluten allergie and a veggie. All were catered for amazingly well. Couldn't have had a better end to our holiday. All went home full.and very happy. Thank you so very

I enjoyed the chicken and chorizo terrine for my starter as a special and the roast chicken was amazing. I would definitely go there again

Really nice pub/restaurant. Nicely spaced tables & good acoustics for a conversation. I noted it still maintained a pub feel, so you could just go for a drink if you wanted. Nice staff & good service. Definitely going again.

Very welcoming hosts, comfortable pleasant surroundings, good selection of dishes and delicious food. Would certainly go again if in the area and recommend to others

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Old Chequers. Food was excellent. Andy & Carol make you feel very welcome. Also dog friendly. We always make sure we pay a visit when we are up at Snape

What a lovely, friendly, welcoming pub 👌 Great landlords, easy parking, beer garden and seating area out the back too, little park opposite for the kids to play, would 100% recommend a visit 😊

My husband and I stayed in the village for the weekend. Visited this lovely pub twice during our stay. Food on both occasions was fab and service excellent. Definitely be back. Thank you Maddy, Jim and team, it was great to meet you.

Attended a funeral wake , the food was outstanding and the service brilliant! The owners had gone to the trouble of decorating the tables and front door appropriately, much of the food was homemade tartlets and pies including some vegetarian options and the fillings were overflowing there were no sh
