Beautiful location. We had lunch while watching a beautiful green valley ahead of us. I had the best Sunday Roast ever! Plus the portions were huge and filling!
Lovely location and setup! The food was brilliant - Venison main a particular highlight beautifully cooked and presented. Very locally sourced too which was a bonus. Had a wonderful evening here and look forward to our next visit!
An amazing pub, tucked away, but serving delicious home cooked food. Service was superb as was the food. We arrived just in time as lunches were being stopped, shortly
A hidden gem The quality of the food is set by the fresh ingredients. Outstanding presentation and service. Breakfast was very good value all cooked to individual order. Will definitely return. Highly recommended
We went out for dinner on a Friday night. The pub was relatively quiet but the bar area was a bit noisy making the resturant quite echoey. One of us had brilliant food - crayfish cocktail and venison pave. The venison melted in the mouth and despite the generous portion could have eaten this for pud
Really enjoyed my stay. It’s a little out of the way, but worth it. A warm welcome, excellent food and service, a clean room with hot, powerful shower (important) and a good breakfast. Would recommend.
Absolutely exceptional food. We have been here plenty of times now. The venison sharer is to die for. Lamb sharer also great. Not cheap but WELL worth it.
Fabulous meal, mashed potato to die for!! A lovely setting and staff really welcoming. The pub has a really relaxed atmosphere and has wonderful views of the countryside.
Stunning location. Incredible staff and food was phenomenal. Deserves its reputation. Look forward to going there again. Pammy and James were top quality and looked after us very well.
We had an excellent lunch the food was cooked to perfection and the service was friendly. We had some really good views of Common Buzzard and Red Kite soaring above the trees opposite the pub. It made a lovely ending to our short Cotswold break.
What a wonderful place and stay. The room was so cosy and clean, the food absolutely delicious. We were close to so many beautiful peaceful walks and took advantage. A truly lovely experience.
Old english country pub/restaurant with rustic interior and idyllic location. Food menu is pretty fancy, 4 cask ale hand pumps; service excellent.
This is an (out the way) dining experience, love the food and setting, great staff and the music nights are something else, look out for them, once you get rocky started you can’t stop him, great musician, look out for some great names, really worth a visit
This is my nearest local and while we drink here quite often we haven't had a special meal at the PK in a while. So what's it like? Great rural location with a nice garden. Inside, there's a lovely ambience in the bar and the restaurant with well laid tables, nice flowers and space; its not over c
Lovely Sunday lunch today. Amazing views of the countryside whilst tucking into some quality local produce that was cooked well. A cut above most pubs in the area.
Food on the expensive side even for this pub. Meal for 2 with 2 starters and 2 drinks was over £100. Starters were OK, a lot of grissle in one and staff didn't seem to know how to handle someone saying the food wasn't the best? Service was decent but had better in the past here. I would definitely
A wonderful country pub and restaurant with a small number of guest rooms. You'll find it down such a narrow lane that you'll be convinced you've gone the wrong way but its absolutely worth the drive. We had an excellent meal of shoulder of venison and some great local beer. We also stayed overnig
