We've been pleased with our quick stay at the Dog House. We're Americans visiting and needed a one night stop over that accommodated children. We arrived early and enjoyed drinks in the pub while our rooms were being cleaned. Later we returned for a lovely dinner, a special menu featuring Sunday roa
We stayed for 2 nights this week and we had a lovely welcome. Our room was comfortable and had kettle with tea and coffee etc we had an iron and ironing board which was much appreciated. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The bar staff were friendly as are the restaurant staff. T

Came here a couple of weeks ago and had such a lovely meal! Really left a lasting impression so adamant to leave review. Really beautiful ambience with lovely surroundings. Rooms are basic and dated but that is more than made up for by incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Food is good quality British pub food. And the beer garden in the sun is loverly + kid friendly with a play area.
Food is brilliant and the staff are really nice people very friendly. Would highly recommend. Lovely place to come for food and chill. 10/10

Last minute booking. 5 of us went for a meal on a Bank Holiday. We had a wait for the food, as we were not rushed, we were happy to have a drink and a catch up. When the food arrived it was really good. Staff were nice. Overall a great evening.
