Lovely little Indian restaurant that will surely develop a great reputation if they keep delivering quality food like we had this evening. Could not fault any of it - delicious and good value. They do not do desserts or hold an alcohol licence, but we knew that so it's 5 stars for what they do offer
Superb Indian restaurant in Freshwater Village. Staff and waitress were very helpful and friendly 🙂 came here in the week and had no problem getting a table but weekends I would book as it gets busy. Had the prawn puri and mixed kebab for starters, very tasty 😋, mains had chicken shaslik with sa
We were on holiday in Freshwater and decided to try the food from the local Indian restaurant, Jaffran. The food was delicious and the service was good. There were plenty of tender chicken chunks in all the dishes we had and the flavours were great. We will definitely return on our next visit to the
Visited Jaffran twice during a week's holiday on the Isle of Wight on both occasions it was to collect a take away meal, hence no rating of the atmosphere. That said the decor is good and it was busy on both occasions so no reason to suspect it nothing but good
As to the food, this is excellent - go
Absolute little gem of a place . Food was amazing. The team really helpful and friendly. Have to take your own booze but no.corkage charged. They have plenty of soft drinks . Very popular so advise to book
3rd time we’ve been here and this was really one of the best curries we’ve enjoyed in a long time. The restaurant has been upgraded with new decor and new, comfortable, chairs since last here on news years eve. Very friendly staff. Recommended by a big time curryholic!!
Was a little hesitant after seeing some of the negative reviews, but can never resist an Indian when on holiday.
As a takeaway ordered Vegetable Pathia and Chicken Madras, both were excellent. Nice crisp Onion Bhajis, fresh Garlic Naan and a creamy Tarka Dall.
What's not to like?
Would definitely
Damn excellent curry! Chicken Tikka Masala first class, King Prawn Jalfrezi perfection, and Darjeeling Dom absolutely bang on! Great portions and service. 5 Stars!!
This resturant never fails to impress! From the flavours and textures to the service. The whole family love coming here and its always a warm welcome and fantastic food
Best place to try Indian authentic spice in the food. just feel the aroma, when the you get the dish.
It now has an updated menu with a wider range of dishes. It is still really good food with good service at reasonable prices.
It does not sell alcohol so take your own. There is no corkage charge.
Not from the area, but wish I was. The takeaway I had from here was perfect. Much better than my locals.
We ate in as a party of 4. The food and service was excellent. The choice of dishes was good and flavours delicious. They were also very busy with takeaway orders. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning. Thank you.
The food is really authentic, a great choice of menu. You can dine in and bring your own drinks. Or take out, or get a delivery. It is really popular in the village and delivers great meals.
It's open every evening.
The owner has upgraded the establishment. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The r
Ignore the ridiculous 1 star reviews. Just have a read of them and you’ll see what’s going on.
I would recommend you Eat-in. We had a fabulous meal. We’ve had plenty of great curries in many different restaurants and this was just as good as the best. Great service. Great veggie options too for one
Delicious food, service was outstanding. Kindly asked if we would like to modify our meals and recommended dishes based on what we liked. Will 100% be returning! Very funny and welcoming staff also.
