Friendly staff. Sunday Roast was slightly delayed and I was offered a free drink as a gesture of good will which I thought was very generous particularly as I wasn't even aware of having been waiting. Talking of generous, the portion was very much so as most of my friends commented when I shared a p
Lovely staff, chatted about walks in lake district and let us order takeaway to pub as they weren't serving!! Will go back and try some live music nights
My son moved into the area recently and this pub has been our goto family dinner/drinks pub.
Nice outside with plenty of space, a little smaller inside than what I initially expected but normally ok, a little cramped when busy though.
Food has always been good (8/10) and no service problems to speak
Popped in for a dinner with the family. What a great atmosphere and tasty pub food. Burgers particularly good! Very friendly staff and a good selection of beers on tap. Will definitely recommend.
Had a good lunch here on a Thursday, steak pie and Thatcher cloudy cider.
Lovely Sunday roast dinner with a great village atmosphere. Best to book table as very busy. We had not booked and were lucky to get a table as majority already reserved. Reasonable price at £9.95 each. Only slight criticism was the beef was overcooked but still tasted good. Will go back again and r
It was a good pub, only had a couple of drinks, but the staff were very kind and happy to help with a smile
Had a family lunch on Friday at this great village pub. Nine of us dined and the menu was excellent. They catered well for our party of whom there was a veggie, but allergy and dairy intolerant person. Range of specials was good. Good was hot, tasty and plentiful. Will be back!
Lovely village pub, very friendly and welcoming staff who were incredibly attentive and helped sort our little people out. Roast dinner was a great addition to our Sunday.
Very nice pub with great food.
We went here to visit my brother when outside dining was only allowed and the staff were fantastic and very friendly. The food here was very nice and the outside dining area is very quite and a pleasant place to eat a meal.
Arrived and we were both welcomed straight away. Landlord and staff could not have be more helpful. The locals are amazingly friendly and we felt right at home. Had a Sunday roast which was excellent. Great pub indeed.
Great pub with really friendly hosts and staff. Really good menu and roasts on Sundays. Shame the MM vegan burger and burger options have gone though
Lovely cosy pub with friendly atmosphere and staff.Dinner was great ..fish and chips with sloe gin fruit crumble...all locally sourced ingredients and beers! Good luck Anna and Paul you are doing a great job.We will be back !
One of the few remaining down to earth village pubs where you can get inexpensive but good food (even better value on one of the 'special offer' days) but also good beer. You are made to feel very welcome, whether you go for a meal or sit with friends for a leisurely drink.
The 'Yeoman' ran down ba
Best pub in the area. Well kept beers and the food is excellent.
