This was our first (but not last) stay. It was perfect from the great comfy room to perfect dining experience with amazing food. Fully recommended and huge thank you to all the staff who couldnt do enough to make it a great stay. A total credit to the new owners who should be proud of the Saltoun team. Thank you

This Hotel is fantastic value for money and more than exceeded our expectations. We stayed on the third floor in a twin room which was large and included a beautiful en-suite with walk-in shower. The room was immaculately clean with modern decor and a desk area with tea/coffee on offer. There was also some hot chocolate and tea biscuits which is more than some other hotels offer. The Wetherspoons restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food and service from staff was brilliant. The Hotel location was central (next to Main Street) and had a car park right in front of hotel. There is a small charge if parking between 8am and 5pm which worked out at about £5 for all day parking but we didn’t mind this as we could see the car and knew it was safe at all times. All in all, the Hotel, Restaurant and Location were brilliant for us and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Fraserburgh. If we’re ever back, we will be sure to stay here again! Thanks for a great stay 😊

One of the best, if not THE best run Wetherspoons I've ever been to. Friendly efficient knowledgeable and courteous staff. Beer and food excellent. Clean and tidy, and tables cleared and serviced almost as quickly as people leave, ready for other customers. A credit to Wetherspoons is this place 👍

Another not planned restaurant for a dinner , usually we don't mind to choose witherspoon because we know can always find something good to eat , and prices are always very affordable. We visit during Christmas so still was chance to order from Christmas menu , and we didn't regrade it burgers was amazing and massive portions . Dessert was nice as well . Was very clean and nicely decorated for festive season. Big car park in front of the restaurant . Stuff very friendly . Definitely recommend.

This place is no longer owned by JD Wetherspoons and prices have risen and service has dropped, no table service or app available

Went to the restaurant, not the hotel. Excellent and friendly customer service, a very nice plate of haggis, neeps and tatties for Burns week and a quiet table to enjoy my meal at a fair price. What more could you ask for?

Room was fantastic, very clean, walk in shower, and very quiet, very good price for room and also for drinks in the bar and the Scottish breakfast was faultless and very cheap, would highly recommend, top-notch

So far it's been brilliant. Good reception, fabulous location right in the center of Fraserburgh and a lovely spotless room, plus we had jacket potato with tuna mayo and fish and chips, all good and cheap. Can't beat a wetherspoons.

Perfect and affordable place to stay the night. We were at a “4 star hotel” the night before this and this Wetherspoons room put the other hotel to shame! It was comfortable, clean, everything worked and it had good air con. Exceeded expectations. The drink and food was decent and priced well as you’d expect. Bar atmosphere could’ve been a little better but it wasn’t that much of an issue!

Warm and lovely welcome. This was a cycle trip raising money by visiting all the Lifeboat Stations in GB. The breakfast was excellent, with very friendly and helpful people. The people in the pub also donated to the RNLI. Great food, lovely welcome.
