Lovely home cooked food and a very warm welcome! Perfect that the kids could eat off the deal menu too, they get so bored of the same kids menus

Possibly the nicest Pub Grub I’ve ever had, staff friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, absolutely loved it!

We were due to be in the area, so called and reserved a table for Sunday lunch. The speed of service was absolutely first class, and the quality of the food was also good albeit of limited choice. However I was a little taken aback at the cost of two pints, one being a shandy, of £14. For this reason alone, I reduce my award to 4stars.

My friend and I went for Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Lovely fresh cooked food. Plenty of meat and vegetables all cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Will certainly be coming for a return visit.

Great pub, lovely food and beer and lovely staff. Perfect. Update: Now under new management. Even better than it was before with a young, helpful and enthusiastic team.

Great food and service. Only downside is the highchairs aren't suitable - my little one kept nearly falling out so took him out of it and had him on my lap instead - and there are no baby changing facilities.

Fabulous food, lovely staff. Just had a very enjoyable lunch. Not rushed at all, felt very safe. Wish we lived nearer because it would be a great local. Looking forward to next time. Thank you very much.
