Fab park, lots to explore: pond with ducks, secluded paths, picnic benches, miniarure railway that runs on Sundays mostly and bank holidays (run by volunteers), lots of nature. Thor's rock not too far and the little cafe is good well. We visit often, just on our doorstep, we're so lucky!

Large area covering Royden park & Thurstaston Hill. Thors rock local landmark, sandstone escarpments with views over river Dee & Welsh hills including Moel Fammau in the distance. Plenty of paid £1 per hour parking easy access. Wheel chair access available with specially constructed paths. Very muddy though from Autumn through to winter, leave your white trainers at home. Cafe by main cafe & mobile cafe at times. Benty Farm cafe also open at times.

The best park on the Wirral for a dog walk, family walk and a run. It is maintained to the highest of standards by the rangers ect There is a mixture of well laid foot paths and some more natural off road walking/running areas. The large Feild in the middle is also good for a picnic or just relaxing ect. The parking is plentiful and there is a cafe in the car park for refreshments. The toilets are in the main car park, although I have never used them

Absolutely love this place!!! 40 min drive from Liverpool City centre and such a gorgeous bit of nature!!! The trees are amazing!!! Parking is cheap and well worth it. There's a mini railway, toilets and a cafe although never been. Great walk for the dog in all weather! Can get a really muddy in the winter but the most gorgeous in the autumn

Such a lovely peaceful park. Particularly enjoyed a trip on the miniature steam train with my daughter. And nieces. A lovely afternoon, only spoilt by the smell of the dog mess, next to the bench where we sat to eat. What is wrong with people? To the Irresponsible dog owner, please pick up your dog's mess! Not only is it harmful to children, you have allowed your dog to foul next to a memorial bench. How disrespectful are you?!!!

Lovely place for a walk. Paths are a little muddy due to all the rainfall, so don't forget your wellies.

Lovely park with lake and various paths that lead to thurstaton common and Irby Quarry too. Has a toilet block on site, coffee shop, ice cream can sometimes there too. Has a miniature train that runs at certain times and also a walled garden. Parking is payable but quite cheap.
